This product has a mild mint flavor and leaves my mouth with a clean fresh feeling. No muck mouth. It also helps greatly with my teeth sensitivity.
Only thing that helps my sensitive teeth
I'm very content with this toothpaste. Has a nice taste and seems to work well.
Have been using this for years and was talked into trying one of the regular flouride toothpastes by my dentist. After switching, went back and the dentist told me to switch back to this!! My gums and teeth were much worse after not using this! Needless today, I switched back immediately. As soon as I used it, I remembered I how much I love it. Wonderful product!!
I'm a dental hygienist and wanted to try this for patient recommendations. Always looking for natural alternative to commercial grade toothpaste. This tastes great and cleans well and does desensitize. Wish you offered this in a fluoride version too.
My only complaint is that it contains glycerin. That being said...the other ingredients are not scary-sounding, tastes wonderful. Good for using to brush tongue for a super clean tongue and minty breath. Would not recommend to brush teeth though, due to the coating of glycerin one would get.
I've been using this toothpaste for about a year now. I wanted a flouride free toothpaste that contained Xylitol, for enamel hardening properties. I was skeptical as to weather it could quell my tooth sensitivities, but it seems to do ok. I have to brush twice a day with this paste, and never use anything else, to keep the pain away...unlike the commercial brands, which I can use once per day, and use something else once per day (cheaper). So, the protection is not as robust as the name brands, but, I've got a toothpaste that works, and is flouride free, and has the beneficial Xylitol. I'm satisfied. I'm back today to buy more.
I switched from Sensodyne to this because I wanted something without fluoride. This was the only toothpaste that I could find without fluoride, but which is good for sensitivity. So far, it's worked for me. I hope it continues to work (I'm not done with my first tube yet but I'm cautiously optimistic). I love the orange-mint flavor. I wish it were easier to find. I'm glad Swanson offers it!
I like the larger size and unnecessary sweeteners. The ingredients were a surprise: aloe, tea tree oil and ICELANDIC MOSS?? It is pleasant tasting and doesn't leave a taste in my mouth. It is difficult to rate its effectiveness until I see my dentist, but it does seen gently on my receding gums.
I haven't used it yet, just opened it and looked at listing to be sure I was billed correctly. Because I had a large order, these shipped free, however, they were in a non-padded envelop and completely smashed. The other thing is that I am very price conscientious. When I was shopping I saw no alternative sellers with price differences. I paid $10 a tube and after checking my order once it arrived, see it is selling for $8.60 with a note that their are 3 other sellers. Very disappointed in that, as I had no idea Walmart used this practice. No different than shopping on Amazon, other than with them you know what you're getting into before you buy.
