The only thing I didn't like was when they delivered it. I believe it was FedEx. They placed it beside my garage which is 50 ft from my porch. I'm a disabled senior. I had to call my neighbor to carry it in for me. My grandson put it together and into the window for me. It works great!! I'm happy that I purchased it. It'll be more efficient than my 35 year old big unit outside. I like that it covers 750 sq ft. Perfect!
Great air conditioner for the price. We love that it doesn't take up the entire window. It cools well, though I did put a re-director on the vent so the air is routed upward instead of straight, because with the unit being so low in the window, all of the cold air was going under the table. Also, we're trying to cool a 450 square foot room, and it struggles to keep it cool in the afternoons with the temperatures over 90 here in East Tennessee. But that's more of a structural problem than a problem with the A/C. Also, you need to remember to drain it at least every other day. Would be nice if that wasn't the case, and it automatically drained outside, but the drain plug is on the inside. But overall, I do think it's a good buy.
and absolutely does the job I have it in my living room window and it's cooling about a thousand square feet at my home and it is quiet as advertised and it definitely gets the job done.
I love this air conditioner it is soooo quiet and cold. I was really impressed with the quality and how easy set up is plus I love the swinging feature on the vent
Does a great job cooling and noise level is much lower than older kinds of air conditioners. Great design so it does not take up the window space for light coming in windows.
This unit blows some seriously cold air. i love the Eco mode and Eco fan option. It cycles to temp and turns on like a thermostat would. It has 4 fan speed settings and is efficient at every speed. I do not have sash windows so this install was a little tricky. The one thing I would suggest is that if you dont already have an eyeglass repair kit order one when you order the ac.....because the screw for the remote is so tiny my 63yr old eye can barely see it, much less have a philips screwdriver that will work. My tiny screwdriver arrives today! Worth the money it is cooling 750sq ft no problem.
My old ac venting was not doing a good job of getting the cool air to my bedroom in the back of the house (furthest away from ac unit). I bought this as I wanted to be able to not take away my bedroom window. It was extremely easy to install. I could have done it myself (53f) but my son (23m) handled it for me. It was beyond easy for him. Like all window units the pain is filling in the empty space. The cut-able foam they provided as a good first step and better than what others seem to give. It is perfect until we build something less noticeable. The AC itself runs COOOOOLLLDDDD. The noise is less than running a fan. I've only had it a few days in Texas winter, so have had to use it and it worked amazingly. This means 80 degree temps. Fingers crossed it works just as well when it hits 100 this summer.
The AC fits perfectly. It runs much quieter than my old one. The AC was ordered n delivered within a few days.
this AC unit came in handy at a good price for cooling the house down when it was needed most doing this hot Texas Heat so now they are cool
The drain is inside the window. It has a small tank that needs to be drained and cuts off when full always in the middle of the night. It leaks, it seeps, it spills on to your carpet or hardwood floors. It causes mold, mildew, and odor. It is by far the worst product I have ever purchased and it's not that cheap. The engineer who designed an air conditioner that drains inside the house must live in Siberia and never used an air conditioner in their life. Ridiculous waste of money. Do yourself a favor - BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!!!!
