Definitely cools now it's not going to feel like an air conditioner but it does cool things down probably best for bedrooms with the door closed we don't have central heat and air just one window unit and our bedroom was staying miserable but I can definitely tell a difference in there .
Read instructions carefully. Let this product sit upright for 4 hours before setting it up. While you're waiting, place ice packs in the freezer. Assembly was really quick and easy. Instructions for use are very clear, and the controls are easy to use. I used lots of ice in the reservoir for the cooler to help cool down the room quickly and it was a good choice. The room cooled down by 10º in no time making the room more comfortable. This is good for a smaller room and if used in addition to a ceiling fan or tower fan it feels as nice as an air conditioner. I'm glad I got this. I'll be getting a bigger one next.
smaller than I thought but worked great well cool down a really small room or an office I'd recommend it in the hot summer
Keep rotating the ice blocks, I would buy bigger ones, but it does work, and not a mister like the arctic air.
It's a evaporative cooler so it has limitations. I use it as a an extra cooling device. You need to be careful around electronics due to the moisture that evaporators put out. We're due to hit 100 today so we'll see how well it works.
