Kitchen Basics Chicken Stock, 8.25 oz Carton

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tastes the same as though I boiled a full Chicken to make stock! It has very few ingredients that are readable and natural/organic! I made chicken & dumplings with this and not only were they great the first day, but we had leftovers and day 2 was even better!

This size is so convenient. Most recipes call for a cup of sauce and when you open a big package you end up throwing it away. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made chicken enchilada soup and the chicken stock was perfect. It added the right amount of flavor and thickness to the soup. I like the package so if I don't use it all I can save it for later. With the screw top it makes it very easy to open with no hard pull tabs. It's also easy to recycle as well. Great stuff!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to make some gravy, mixed with a little flour, animal fat, pepper and water. It tasted really good and I would definitely use this to make gravy again! The packaging is a great size and easy to use. I would definitely buy this stock again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the chicken stock to make some sopita today and the kids loved it. Gave it a great flavor with some added nutritional ingredients. Easy to use packaging that could be resealed for later use as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an okay stock to have on hand and use in a pinch, but I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase it. The ingredients could be better, which is disappointing compared to their vegetable stock which is really clean. Overall it does have good flavor, but I'd rather lower sodium so I could control it in my meals as well as better ingredients. The mouth feel is good, and it would pair okay with any chicken or poultry dish. Just be cautious of adding additional salt!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I threw the bottle out before I could get a photo but I used this product in my Zuppa soup and it was delicious. Great flavor and thickness for the soup. I would definitely repurchase this brand again. It was not too salty or watery. Just right.

Overcharged ridiculous price

I used to love KB stock. I noticed a flavor change and looked at the ingredients (that haven't changed dramatically over the last few years) and see that yeast extract is now in all of the stock. I'm so very very disappointed. I couldn't figure out why I was ill, after eating the stock, I have used in many recipes, but found yeast extract. Ugh. Stop adding unnecessary crap, yes crap, to an otherwise good product. Go back to carrots onions and chicken, please!!
