Kitchen Basics Original Chicken Stock, 32 oz Carton

It seems like finding soup stock gets harder every year. Everyone wants to sell me broth. This is a real chicken stock and is thicker (and in my opinion tastier) than chicken broth. When making soup or some chicken recipes I much prefer stock over broth. It is not too salty, but is a bit salty.

It tastes pretty good. I had a procedure coming up and I could only eat broth. I highly recommend. Flavor was not bland at all.

Kitchen Basics is by far the best of the grocery store stocks. And Walmart’s low price makes it a no-brainer!

I keep this stuff on hand ALL the time!!! It's great----and cheaper than some of the other brands!!!

When I can’t make my own I use this! It’s very delicious.

Made my own stock like normal, but used this to supplement my soup instead of Swanson stock. Turned out to be the best chicken noodle soup I've ever made. Very flavorful!

This was my first time buying Kitchen Basics. It was far superior to College Inn or Swanson - much more hearty flavor. I used it in my sauce for chicken pot pie and it would be perfect for soups or gravy.

I never thought I’d be out here reviewing chicken stock like it’s a life-changing experience, but here we are. Honestly? This stuff deserves some respect. Used it in a soup and suddenly I felt like I should be wearing a chef hat and yelling “YES, CHEF!” at my family. Rich flavor, not too salty, and way better than my usual “just add water and hope for the best” cooking strategy. Took off one star because it still can’t do the dishes or chop onions for me. Rude.

The carton clearly says 32 oz. However, I poured it into my measuring cup and it was not 32 oz as you can see on the picture. Just like everything else, it’s getting smaller for the same price or more!

Found a napkin inside the chicken stock…. They need to do better quality control!! I been getting this brand for years now but this is the first time this happened!!
