[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This waffle maker is easy to set up, use, and clean. It makes tasty, perfectly cooked (i set a timer for 3 minutes per waffle), and adorably small (but not too small) waffles. There are a couple small things I would change, namely that the lid stays open when you lift it but precariously so. I am always worried about it falling back down while I am lifting the waffle out and burning my hand. I wish it opened a tiny bit more past 90 degrees so that gravity was working with me instead of against me. It makes it so that you need 2 hands, one to lift the waffle out with a silicone spatula (or your bare hand if you are careful) and one hand to hold the lid open so it doesn't close on you. Also I overfilled it slightly the first time and batter leaked all over the sides. I wish there was a larger lip around the very edge of the cooking surface to hold in the extra batter if it overflows from the main cooking surface. That said, when I was done cooking the cooking surface was spotless and didn't need anything more than a quick swipe from a wet rag (and I didn't even use any cooking spray like the directions said! It couldn't have been any easier. I was also pleasantly surprised that the outer plastic surface was cleaned very easily with just a wet washcloth and a little pressure. Overall, cleaning took less than a minute and it looked brand new again. Next time I will be careful not to overfill it! My favorite part is the fact that this thing barely takes up any cupboard space. I am getting rid of our full-size mammoth waffle maker that I hated storing and cleaning and will just use this from now on!
