(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had to replace my KitchenAid dishwasher as it started to hold water instead of draining, after owning it for 16 years. I chose KitchenAid as I was happy with the original dishwasher and wanted to maintain consistency with my other KitchenAid appliances in the kitchen. I have been quite impressed with how quiet it is - so quiet you hardly notice any noise at all and my kitchen is open to the living area. It cleans just fine also, no issues have come up since I have had it installed.

It is quiet, washes the loads really well, and it dries so well that you don't have to dry the dishes when you take them out of the dishwasher. The third rack fits so many small cups and glasses!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Would give 4 1/2 stars. This replaced my previous 11 year old Kitchenaid upper model dishwasher. Better third rack design improves loading capacity and cleans well, besides allowing for taller items in the middle rack. I wash a lot of plastic containers. Even without using the heat dry, they come out with water only in the grooves, an improvement, but harder to load small plastic lids than in previous model. Glass stem holders seem to work well. Overall, happy with my purchase.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought machine about 2 months ago. The first one being installed was defective and replaced, following another month waiting for availability. The machine runs quietly and does a good cleaning job. Would have liked some tray racks being different / tighter separations for plates and bowls. Stemware wine glass supports in second rack are nice, but should have been 4 instead of 2.

It does clean the dishes and other items very well, HOWEVER, the vent at the front leaks condensation after each wash. When the cycle finishes and you open the front it leaks on to the floor. This is very disappointing. That seems to be the only complaint we have with this purchase.

But, the vent on the front drips water every time you open the door after the wash/dry. The middle rack is a a bit odd in the design and glasses tend to tip due to the "humps" in the rack

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This machine is a lemon. It does not clean the dishes appropriately regardless of setting, prewashing etc We had a technician come to assess and they said it was a plugged jet and even after they unplugged it it still didn't work well

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was happy with this dishwasher for the first 2 years we had it. It was very quiet and we loved the 3rd rack and the way it held the extra glasses. We recently had to replace it because the poor design of the dishwasher filter at the bottom of the dishwasher allowed small pieces of paper (from jars - my bad) to get past the accessible filter and into the fine filter where it became like a plaster and plugged up. The error code did not match the problem. The repairman said to remove the lower filter and housing meant breaking seals, and would cost as much to repair as half a new dishwasher and would most likely require future repairs on it. We opted for a new dishwasher in a different brand with a more accessible filter to clean. He explained about the poor design of the Kitchenaid dishwashers and had seen this same problem numerous times.
