KitchenAid® 3.5 Quart Coated Flat Beater, White, KSM35CFB

The coated beater that came with my mixer in 2016 failed within the first year. I read all the instructions and follow them so I was very careful. I received a replacement coated beater and now 8+ years later it is still in perfect condition. Seems some KitchenAid items need special care. I LVE my Mini 3.5 s I'll doo whatever to keep it in great condition.

I bought the Artisan Mini, & this came with it. I felt like something was missing when I used this beater, as well as the flex beater (that I bought extra) with only one flex edge. Just didn't seem to do as well as the 5 qt. mixer I used to have.

I had a 4.5 stand mixer for 30 years but decided to get it cleaned and gifted it to my daughter. I purchased the new 3.5 the same day in Greenville, Ohio. THAT WAS OVER FIVE YEARS AGO and I've waited for KitchenAid to bring in some new bowls and accessories all this time! THIS PART IS UNUSABLE!!! When will KitchenAid get their act together and replace this “dough mixer” with something like what they have available for the other models?!?!?

It doesn't have the cross-beam! The mini Artisan mixer is treated like a step-child. These accessories are lower quality, if they are even available. So disappointed in KitchenAid. You should have never come out with the mini Artisan if it was going to be inferior. You market it as though it is just like the regular sized kitchen Aids, but not if you aren't going to offer the same accessories and accessories of the same quality as the larger mixers.

I love the 3.5 qt mixer for the size and the lack of space that I have however its nearly useless with this beater. My handheld mixer does a better job than this thing. It needs the cross bar like in the larger mixers to be of any use.

I agree with the other reviewer that it needs the cross pieces to be better. But I don't use my stand mixer because of it, so I don't think this deserves 3 stars.

The Julienne blade does not work well for a julienne cut. I purchased this whole set of blades plus the container to keep them in. I have use the other blades and been pleased. The Julienne is a huge disappointment. I am making a veggie slaw for a party. I'm going to have to use my mandolin.

Compared to full sized models, this attachment is ineffective without the cross bar design. The dough/batter in the center of the bowl just stays put and does not get mixed in without running the mixer while holding the head slightly up or stopping the mixer and scraping down the sides and manually agitating the mixture. Completely defeats the point of a stand mixer if I need to do that much extra work! My hand mixer works more effective for most things

I cut large carrots to the proper length to use with the middle pusher. Did not get the results I expected. Most of the carrots were in tiny pieces, not the length of the carrots.The disc is not close enough to the top and causes product to get pushed between the disc and top and not cut. Could not find a Kitchenaid video showing the proper way to get good results. Will keep trying.
