Excellent product always a little too expensive, but always works perfectly

This was the perfect fit for my Mini Kitchen Aid Mixer. I needed a glass bowl with a handle. And it is a true Kitchen Aid bowl, nice and heavy. I am very Pleased. Perfect.

Love this bowl however, it does not lock into place like the stainless bowl. When I tried to utilize this bowl I had to hold it in place. Bad design, bad purchase.

I've only used my mixer a few times. Noticed yesterday when washing that there's a large chip off the base of the bowl that attaches to the mixer. I came here to look for a replacement and I'm disappointed at all of the bad reviews for the same issues, cracking and chipping. The replacement price is very expensive!

It was great, until it wasn't. I've had my kitchen aid and glass bowl for years and I never had a problem with it until yesterday while I was making a dough it shattered. Exploded is a more accurate description. Shards of glass everywhere, floor, counters and of course the dough. Luckily, I only got a scratch on my wrist while turning it off, it wasn't worse because I'm not lying when I said it exploded. Just be careful with this bowl, it truly did last a long time but when it broke, it was dangerous.

This was my 2nd replacement bowl! It doesn't seat correctly and shattered while mixing! The first bowl broke while trying to dislodge it from the mixer.

I've always been a huge KitchenAid fan and own several of their products, which is why this was such a letdown. The glass bowl cracked in the dishwasher under normal use. After reading other reviews, it's clear this is a common issue, which points to a quality problem with the glass itself. For a kitchen product at this price point, durability should be a given. Very disappointing.

We acquired this product as part of our wedding registry in the spring of 2024. We have found it very nice and enjoyed using it up until recently, while baking Christmas cookies. We put the bowl top down on the top rack of the dishwasher and when it was removed it permanently shrunk. Now the bowl won't lock into the stand mixer and is rendered unusable.

I bought this bowl and so excited to use it. It broke on the second use. I won't be buying glass or ceramic bowls anytime soon. I will stick with the stainless. I bought the gold and stainless one from here and he has been fine.

This glass shattered because it doesn't sit right in the mixer. This could have been a serious injury.
