KitchenAid 5-Quart Tilt-Head Glass Bowl with Measurement Markings, Clear, KSM5NLGB

Love this glass mixing bowl. Bought to replace an old one that chipped. The base of it is much improved from my old bowl-it no longer has the plastic threads on the bottom. Instead the threads are made of the glass itself. It is heavier than the stainless bowl that comes with the mixer. I only wish the grey lid was included, but I saved it from the old bowl.

i have a kitchen Aid stand mixer that i absolutely love.. and i have been wanting this glass mixing bowl to go with my stand mixer for a ling time and i finally got it and i absolutely love it..i got it just in time..i cant wait to use it this holidays coming up ..on all the holidays meals im going to cook... im excited 😆...

The website offered a detailed description which met the requirements for my KitchenAid stand mixer. The item is fragile and it came in tact and on time.

Beautiful mixing bowel, unfortunately it does not fit the older KitchenAid Accolade models. Fortunately Walmart made the return very easy to complete.

Love the size. Very heavyweight. Only thing I would add is that I don’t think I would use it for any kind of bread kneading. I used my metal bowl and it took 2 of us and lots of strength to get the metal bowl off. So I’m not sure I’d wanna use the glass for that because I would be worried about cracking it. Other than that I love it!!

This fits my 6 yr- old KitchenAid 5-Qt Artisan Design perfectly. I really like the sturdy glass bowl that one can see through and assess the dough from there as well as just the top. It is substantial, so it is not going to crack easily or spin off either. I appreciate that it is made by KitchenAid, thus getting a warranty and avoiding fit problems. Its base fits securely and locks in easily yet will remove easily when so desired. Cleaning is as easy as cleaning the stainless bowl, just is a bit heavier, and one probably would want to take a bit more care to avoid banging or chipping it than one might get away with a stainless-steel bowl.

I like the glass bowl instead of the metal. It looks great and you know the ingredients are mixed together. I was surprised that there was no plastic locking ring on the bottom like my last bowl. it's better now as the bottom of the bowl has a molded glass bottom. It is a much better design. i really love the glass mixing bowl.

The kitchen aid brand is very good quality. The attachments are nice and make multiple task easier when the right attachments are used correctly. Our house loves to cook and bake the kitchen aid mixer is a valuable tool that stays on our counter (never put away) and is used multiple times a week.

This kitchen aid glass mixer bowl is beautiful but it broke on the second use. It is bigger and harder to get seated in the base and was very difficult to get it to release after mixing. I hand washed and rinsed it, then left it out on the counter to dry. When I picked it up to put it away I noticed a huge crack all across the back stretching almost all the way around to the front of the bowl. I felt like it was a good price but it certainly should have lasted more than two uses. I did not drop or misuse, so there is no reason the the bowl to crack.
