KitchenAid Cordless 5 Cup Food Chopper - KFCB519

I bought this for making jams and I wanted my fruit puréed. It does and it's so easy to move around no cords and it holds it's charge for months when to in use. Easy to clean and store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this food chopper a month ago and it is a little gem. It is easy to use and is very effective. It makes great fresh breadcrumbs and grinds fresh herbs brilliantly. The charge lasts a long time and it is very convenient not to have to plug in the electricity cord (my previous chopper had a short cord and this was a major hassle). My only criticism is that it would be nice to see a percentage left for the charge. The new matte black colour is a thing of beauty and fits in nicely with my onyx black kitchenaid items.

After my large Kitchen aid processor died that had given our 6 adult family great pleasure I was reluctant to buy the small one. But it's so darn handy to move around and I ve used it nearly everyday. I'm still waiting for the day that I'll miss my large one. But now for two pensioners this us great.

I bought this product so that when my disabled daughter was out and about, we could puree the food we bought for her, instead of always having to bring her food with us. It has been brilliant and changed the way we live. Being able to buy her food from a cafe with the rest of us, and then process it to a texture she can eat, is empowering and inclusive. The processor has been all around Australia now, gets used daily and is a very valuable part of her essential daily living equipment. Thank you Kitchenaid for making such a robust and useful piece of kitchen equipment - you have made life in this family so much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I needed a food chopper, I was hesitate about getting one. I was worried about where I was going to store it. Well, it's so compact that it can fit nicely on a shelf and I love the fact that I can use my chopper anywhere since I don't have to be near an outlet. But turns out I rarely store it because I find myself using it on a daily basis. Some may consider it a little pricey, but it is worth its weight in gold. I love my new appliance.. NO REGRETS!

I saw this chopper advertised online one day and had to investigate after watching the video, I purchased 3 of them, two for gifts and one for myself. I LOVE IT. I do a lot of canning and creating and to have the cordless option and being able to move it where I am not to where an outlet is has been a life saver. I highly recommend anyone that loves being in the kitchen to purchase on of these cordless choppers. You wont be disappointed. Has a good life span between charges and has plenty of power to chop most anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only used it once to chop an onion, but so far so good. I can't attest to battery life, but I can say that it is very convenient. I have 2 other food processors, an 11-cup one and a small 2-cup one. The 11-cup one works well, however, it's a pain in the butt to take out and assemble and clean and put away. The 2-cup one is small and also does the job, but too small to hold larger quantities. So far, the 5-cup has proven to be just what I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this “Little Marvel” about a month ago. I am so impressed with the cordless feature! It affords less bulk on my kitchen countertop. I can make quick work out of important jobs like chopping small amounts of nuts, or dried fruit. I have yet to try the whisking blade, can't wait to make whipped cream! Once again, Kitchenaid has proved to be an invaluable “Partner” for those of us who do our best work in the kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this chopper compared to another brand because it is very easy to clean, you can order more parts, it has a safety that will not let you turn the appliance on by mistake and the ease of handling it.

I received this as a gift for Christmas and have used it a total of 5 times. After delicately handwashing the bowl and attachments this chopper has been treated like you would a new born baby. Now imagine my surprise when I went to chop onions and the blasted machine stopped working. I gave it a full charge and let it rest. After all that the machine still won't work. After contacting customer service their only advice to me was “to recycle it” since I do not have a receipt (again this was a Christmas gift so of course I do not have the receipt). I was also told that they do not service these choppers. Which is such a waste to throw the whole device away simply because of one issue (in my case the motor malfunctioning). So you are SOL if the machine breaks as they won't fix it. I am a loyal kitchen aid customer with every appliance in my kitchen being with this company. I am so disappointed in this device and had such high expectations (that kitchen aid sets). Kitchen aid quality and customer service has significantly declined in that last few years and I'm so disappointed. I guess it is time to become a dedicated Ninja customer since kitchen aid is going down hill.
