The only drawback is that the plastic cup which came with it was cracked when we opened the package, so we're missing that. Otherwise, a good looking and easy to use hand blender.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have the KitchenAid Mixer and love it do this was an easy purchase. We needed something we could use quickly without much clean up. This was the answer! The KitchenAid Variable Speed Cordless Hand Blender is great! It's the perfect small appliance to have when needed to blend something quickly with little to no mess. We have already used this to make a few soups and protein shakes as well. The blender almost suctions to the bottom of the cup so there's no fear of the blender coming out. It mixes effortlessly and we had no problem blending items such as tomatoes and protein powders. The blender is also very quiet and does not produce much noise. Some hand mixers we have used in the past were loud but this was very quiet. Extremely easy to use also, even for someone that doesn't do much cooking! KitchenAid products look modern, sleek, and professional. Even the packaging the appliance came in was bold and had the signature KitchenAid design. This is one of the best handheld blenders we've ever purchased and I'm glad with went with a product name with trust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this blender. It not only does my whipped cream for my Irish Coffee perfectly but it also does eggs, gravy, small amounts of mashed potatoes, etc. I did add the whisk attachment and found that to be even better for the whppped cream.

After using this hand blender all I can say is that my old blender may be staying in the cabinet for a while! This blender was so easy to use. I usually like to puree my beans and this works great. I was even able to use it in the same pot I cooked them in - the pan guard is a really good little item! The blender feels sturdy but is not too heavy. The black color I sleek and will go with any decor. One charge lasts a significant amount of time. I have used it several times and I still haven't had to recharge yet. Overall I am really happy with this new blender and I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this last week and immediately put it on the charger. Charged to full capacity in about 2 hours. Does a great job mixing whatever you put in to it. Used it to make pesto and it mixed everything great. Large capacity mixing container is included. Used it next on a cold soup and again, it blended everything perfectly. Used it several times and haven't had to charge it yet. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I can quickly grab it from my drawer and start using it. The battery stays charged for a long time so I don't have to worry about constantly charging it. I use this to make many of my everyday staples at home like salsas, refried beans, blended soups, among many other things. It's compact size and detachable battery make cleaning a quick and easy process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this KitchenAid Hand Blender because it's such a hassle to use my big blender for smaller recipes. It has completely filled that gap. The hand blender is heavier than I expected, but it is balanced well and is sturdy. I love not having to deal with a cord and finding counter surface near an outlet--I can use this anywhere. I also appreciate how quickly it charges and that it has an indicator light to show me when it's funny charged. The blender works very well in the cup receptacle that came with it as well as in my mixing bowls and pans. The pan protector attachment keeps it from damaging my nonstick pans. I'm very happy with this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially was considering picking up the all-clad cordless immersion blender, but opted for kitchenAid on history with brand and cost. Things that keep this from being a top-starred purchase: power, guard, and ease of usage. I make soup and smoothies primarily with it and it struggles with fibrous fruits like pineapple or chunks of frozen fruit. The guard was a struggle to get on the blade and the instructions weren't clear for its usage - ended up having to go to YouTube to see how to get it on. It's usage requires pressing the lock button AND the power button in order to use it and if you have a smaller hand the double button usage may be difficult. Also, the battery indicator is either green (power) or red (dead) with a lack of gradation or percentage view you will need to essentially charge after usage to ensure you have enough power and it doesn't die mid usage.

I bought this cordless hand blender 2 months ago and I basically use it to make my baby's food. Very bad experience because 2 days ago I realized blender arm plastic attachment is breaking and not only that I saw a piece of plastic in my baby's food before giving it to him. VERY dangerous. This part should be made out of Stainless Steel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS product even though All my appliances are kitchen aid and I belief is a great brand!
