KitchenAid Flex Edge Beater for KitchenAid Tilt Head Stand Mixers, White, KFE5T

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We had a 30 year old kitchen aid mixer, which really stood the test of time. My Artisan Mixer replaced it. So great to have the stir speed to initially start the mix. I also appreciate having the handle on the bowl. Two really fantastic features. And then of course is that my new mixer is in my favourite colour, 'red'.

So much sturdier than the cheap one I used to hover the paddle attachment with the rubber scraper does a nice job so you don't have to stop and scape the bowl so often. It's definitely worth getting the slider pad for underneath it otherwise it's tough to move.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this flex Edge beater for my mixer because the silicon rubber on my original beater developed a split along the edge. maybe because I have used it so much. I love using this beater as it reduces the number of times I need to stop the machine and scrape down the bowl. My only hope is that pain on the base of the beater does not wear away to quickly to expose the bare metal. Could not live without my Kitchen Aid mixer!

Every KitchenAid user needs this, especially if it'll fit their model! Absolutely love the silicone piece that scrapes the edges of the bowl. Sometimes you do need to scrape the top of the bowl with a spatula to push down the contents to make it easier for this tool to do its job.

The beater does a good job getting everything mixed well. The problem is it likes to throw everything out of the bowl, so if you don't have a bowl guard don't use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my mixer with the stainless steel attachments and the paddle would miss the sides so I thought I'd get this attachment to fix that however, while it gets the sides fine, it still doesn't quite get right to the bottom and it moves the mixture up the bowl until it's above the attachment. I'm a little disappointed that I still can't effectively cream butter and sugar without scraping the bowl by hand often.

I got this accessorie when I first got my Kichtenaid (2015) but the silicon broke down and became sticky within about 12 months so had to throw away. It wokred well before this.

I was disappointed with this beater as the finish has worn off the bottom after 2 uses and it made my whole mixer shake when using it as the mixture would stick to the scraper side and made things not level or even.
