Kitchenaid Heat Resistant Nylon Solid Turner with Black Handle

This is a nice well constructed turner. The handle is nice and long, feels solid. The turner itself is wide enough to flip eggs, burgers, pancakes - basically anything. Cleanup is easy with soap and water. It's a good quality item. Highly recommend. I was gifted this product so I could give an honest review.

This is the best spatula I've ever bought, it's worth every penny. Other companies like when they say heat resistant but this spatula actually is. Also it doesn't stain up.

I personally love this turner! It is the most sturdy nylon tool I have in my kitchen and seems to be quality material. I have not had any issues with it melting, however I do not use this or any other nylon tool in very high heat cooking. I use it when I make pancakes or bake cookies and it works perfectly! I love all my Kitchen Aid products. I was gifted this item in exchange for my honest review.

This is cheap junk. I threw it in the trash after the first use. It is slippery, bends when you attempt to use.

Nice size head. Way too long with a heavy handle, awkward feeling. I went for another spatula around 10" instead. Well built, just not for me.

First use. Used to flip sausage and eggs, in a non-stick pan that had been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Stove top burner was set to medium. During clean up, I noticed that a layer of material was peeling back from the leading edge of the flipping blade. A layer of material 0.5mm to 2mm wide was peeling from the blade along the leading edge. The item did not appear to be damaged before use. The item was hand-washed prior to first use. I do not feel comfortable eating or serving food that may have bits of the nylon utensil mixed in with the food.
