KitchenAid KFE5T Flex Edge Beater for Tilt-Head Stand Mixers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this flex Edge beater for my mixer because the silicon rubber on my original beater developed a split along the edge. maybe because I have used it so much. I love using this beater as it reduces the number of times I need to stop the machine and scrape down the bowl. My only hope is that pain on the base of the beater does not wear away to quickly to expose the bare metal. Could not live without my Kitchen Aid mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this beater soon after I had used my mixer a few times and it was well worth it. The rubber edge makes sure it scrapes the whole bowl so you don't have to stop and scrape down the sides as much.

I got this accessorie when I first got my Kichtenaid (2015) but the silicon broke down and became sticky within about 12 months so had to throw away. It wokred well before this.

I just bought this to replace my original enamel coated beater (about 10yr old) as the enamel had started to peel off. I was wary of buying the coated one after reading reviews where people had said the enamel was chipping off, sometimes after only a couple of uses. The sales assistant convinced me they must be putting the attachment in the dishwasher for that to happen. So i bought this particular one and have just used it for the very first time and was horrified to see the enamel is chipped off right at the bottom. VERY disappointed. This used to be known as such a quality brand and after paying top dollar for this attachment and to have this happen after one use is disgraceful!
