(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought our KitchenAid Range Model YKFEG500ESS8 in March/2025 and have not had any issues with it. Works just great. Really like the "Convection" feature for the oven. Will be very handy. Also like the space in the oven area, enough for three rack levels. The "Warm Zone" Element on the stovetop to keep cooked food warm is a neat feature as well.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I replaced my 15 year old Kitchen Aid Range with a New one. This wasn't because the old one failed, but I had a black Kitchen Aid Fridge that was slowly being abused. Black coloured appliances are not on the current market. So both are now stainless steel. The new range has a lot more push buttons. When you get to know what they do, it makes selection a lot simpler. The convection fan is very quiet. My first project, drying basil from the garden, was done in 1/2 hour, at a convection temp of 170. Great air circulation.

Only negative is the timer... the sound is not loud or long enough. Only beeps once so if you are in another room it is very easy to miss. This should absolutely be changed.

Minor suggestions: the red line marker on the knobs to stand out more to make it easier to notice, and eliminate the groove between the glass and frame because it collects dirt and somewhat hard to clean. Other than these, very happy so far.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Third time the charm as the first 2 ranges both had multiple dents on the right side and one also had a scratched cook top surface. All the elements seem to work well on the stove top. We have noticed that after using the oven a few times that there were a couple of enamel or ceramic pieces in the bottom of the oven. Oven works well, hopefully didn't eat any other pieces like the ones found in the bottom? The racks are also pretty flimsy and have discoloration maybe rust forming. Had I known would have kept the racks from the old one

The task of keeping the cooktop clean is demanding.It was nt until I contacted customer service did I find out about Affresh; it helps ease the burden. I m not sure why the internal capacity of the range is so large, given the limited amount of cooking that people do . How many families will need a oven with that capacity at the expense of storage space for pots and pans?

I bought this stove a month ago and am not happy with how the elements are marked on the top of the stove. It is hard to centre a pot on without having to look over the pot to see if it is centred between the little dots.

Stainless steel around oven door arrived with marks that will not remove so always looks oily. Do like the dual stove features for various pan size. Like the glass top for easy cleaning.

The control panel glass on the oven keeps cracking. I've had it replaced twice in 5 years and it just cracked again. We've never cracked glass on any other range we've owned so it's not as if we are causing it. It crack from top to bottom. I bought the matching fridge, range and dishwasher. Not cheap, I expect better quality. The dishwasher I've had to change the pump twice in five years as well. At least the pump is not expensive and it's easy to change yourself. The glass control panel is not cheap and not something the average person wants to change themselves.

I bought the Kitchenaid YKFEG500ESS a few years back at the start of COVID. I have had issues with the burner knobs with one being not installed properly and the other breaking completely due to the cheap plastic inside. Yesterday, while heating up water for pasta the burner switch essentially caught fire. I'm very disappointed in this oven range.
