This mixer is powerful and quiet. I can whip up my baking dough in a matter of minutes, where it took me an hour by hand. I wished the head tilted UP out of the bowl, the lift feature is nice, but can make the bowl difficult to get in/out when its full, and if not mixed yet, spillage. The attachments available, although pricey, are amazing and they make this machine the most versatile one in my kitchen. Its built with integrity, so I know it will last beyond my baking/cooking years and will be a great item to pass down to my daughter. Its made to last. I love how quiet it runs, the adjustable speeds and the attachments. This is not just a kitchen appliance, its an investment and will last a lifetime. I have wanted THIS mixer since I was young and could not be more excited to finally have one of my own!

this is my first standing kitchen mixer. a kid neighbor was here the other day and said, "whoa. that's like, what professionals use in their kitchens!" :') the ease of use is almost astonishing. it's the perfect size, too; the motor is strong enough to withstand long bouts of whipping but it isn't too big and cumbersome. a great addition to my kitchen gadgets and infinitely more useful.

I grew up learning how to bake with a KitchenAid Artisan and have been using one for the last 5 years. Now that my batches of cupcakes and cream cheese frosting have become a bigger undertaking, my boyfriend suggested upgrading to the Professional Series and as soon as I saw this beauty out of the box I knew I made the right call. Anyone who walks into my kitchen immediately says something about my mixer and loves the steel grey color. I read in several reviews prior to buying the mixer that KitchenAid upgraded them to a 6 quart bowl, and the same happened for me. Could not be happier with my new stand mixer!

My husband encouraged me to buy my Kitchen Aid Mixer. I never owned a stand up mixer, I just used a bowl and a spoon. I never knew what I was missing until I used this mixer. Baking is now a dream. I am even making homemade bread. It is so easy. I am 57 years old and learning that my Kitchen Aid mixer has made a difference in the way I cook and bake. I am trying new recipes all the time. My husband and family are enjoying the results.

IF YOU ARE A BAKER THIS KITCHEN-AID IS FOR YOU. I HAVE A PREVIOUS ONE THAT LAST FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND THE MOTOR FINALLY GAVE OUT. SO I BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE. THIS ONE IS EVEN BETTER. IT'S A LITTLE LIGHTER,TOO. IT DOES THE SAME GREAT WORK OF MY LAST ONE ONLY BETTER.

My mother had one of these when I was growing up and I enjoyed using hers. My husband gave this to me as gift for my first mother's day and birthday. I thoroughly enjoy using my mixer!! I've used it to make bread, muffins, and cookies. I even made my own butter with it! Turned out great! It is worth every penny spent on this machine.

My grandmother has owned one of these mixers for over 20 years. This is my first and I'm always looking for a reason to use it. I love the design, the power, and the ease of use/clean up. The very first time I used it I doubled a cookie recipe that said it made 20 cookies. Turns out, it make over 100!. The mixer handled it with no problem.

Upgraded to the more powerful motor and it is a doozie! Easily whips through double recipe chocolate chip cookies. Love the power and that bowl rises to the beater. When it is lowered it is very easy to get dry ingredients into bowl. This is a great mixer.

My boyfriend bought this online and shipped to me for my birthday. First thing, The seller seem that they ran out of tape to properly secure package. Everything was shaking in the box once I picked up the package. Secondly, when I open the box the attachments looked used, there was butter on the equipment also. This is unacceptable knowing it says “item new” on there site. I will post the pictures.

When we received this product, the bottom of the mixer - the part underneath the bowl - was scratched beyond repair. The appearance was terrible and we are pretty sure it had been sold as new, but was actually a refurbished product. Very unhappy. WalMart put the onus on me to return it prior to receiving a refund. We know the product is great as we have had one for several years (this one was to be a house warming gift) but WalMart did a bait-and-switch on us by sending us a used product (which was damaged) and charged us a new price. I recommend this product, but don't trust WalMart sell you a new one.
