Easy to use and clean. Very slim so it fits good on the counter.

I held off writing a review until we had used the Espresso Machine for a while. I tried various amounts of grounds and cup sizes on the machine before figuring out which variable worked for us. My husband and I enjoy an Americano. We do not like it real strong. So, I make it with the single serve basket, set for 2 cups of espresso. Then I add 12 oz of water from the frother wand. I like it and it tastes smooth. We also purchased a grinder with multiple levels of grounds and only grind what we are actually going to use in a cup. The machine works well and we have had no issues with it at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thoroughly IMPRESSED with customer service and my espresso machine. Delicious espresso. I'm incredibly picky/borderline coffee snob/coffee critic and I'm able to make delicious drinks at home. It's good to know that the milk steamer/frother is not like an actual one at a coffee shop in that it takes much longer (1-2 minutes) to achieve the desired results/consistency but can still be obtained—just not as quick. Still recommend! Other things to note: Height between group and base may not fit taller cups/mugs Heavier mugs preferred to avoid cups vibrating off when espresso is being expelled Steam wand has forward and back movements and is able to be rotated at the tip but is limited with its movements Clean up may require a little more time than a traditional coffee machine This is a programmable machine that may take some practice if a person is unfamiliar with espresso and brewing espresso—but it's so worth it!

This machine is amazing. I use ground esspresso and almond milk. The frother works very well and the coffee is excellent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of different options for the grounds. The temperature settings are adjustable however on high I could only get the strike temperature of the espresso to be 155 F max. It ramps up to that point so I assume I may have a one off. Strike temp needs to be at least 190 F. You can see I tried two different days, locations and outlets. I believe that if you brewed a full cup of coffee instead of espresso it may get to 190 F because the milk steamer gets to 170 F before it times out. I used a standard thermometer and a calibrated NIST traceable thermometer to be sure.

Unlike other brand names which focus on personal Espresso Machines, this machine just isn't ideal. The portafilter is built so the water doesn't really press the coffee out completely and is hard to remove the puck. It is a messy coffee mush. The steamer will shut off mid-steam and doesn't get the milk very hot, mainly lukewarm and doesn't froth very well. I do not recommend this machine if you would like to have homemade artisan espresso coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybe I got a faulty product, but this semi-automatic espresso machine is a nightmare to use. The main culprit for me is the button toggling. I am literally unable to toggle to the different settings - I can select Espresso and Single shot as those are the default options, but it wouldn't let me do double shot. I tried holding down, and double-pressing the buttons to no avail. Assembly was easy and the portafilter is sturdy, overall construction appears good quality, as expected of KitchenAid. My issue is primarily the buttons. With this expensive machine, I am able to make single shots of espresso, but little else.

I bought it trusting the KitchenAid brand. The machine really looks high-quality, but it didn't draw any water. I regretted it just two hours after purchasing. Since the service hours are only during the day, I couldn't reach anyone for help. It was my first time trying KitchenAid, and unfortunately, it ended in disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Water light came on- instructions say to prime the pump up to 5 times. Didn't work after 5 times, nor did it change after priming over 20+ times. Worked pretty great until this :(
