This teapot is perfect, recently changed to an induction cook top and had to replace my 30 plus year old teapot. I like the removable lid, it is easy to wash and always looks beautiful.

Quality product, induction cooking compatible, great pricing. What I like the best is Walmart makes it so easy to order with no surprises.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As expected from Kitchenaid, it's a beautiful tea kettle. The look is very modern and polished and fits with any hone decor. I'm a tea drinker, so heating up water in my kettle on the stove top is something I do almost daily. It heats the water surprisingly quickly, and with a whistle, you know it's done. Just use a hot pad when you pick it up, because the handle does get hot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The look, feel and weight to this tea kettle screams awesome BUT the functionality of the design is flawed. In the handle for the lid there are 4-5 holes under the cap to let steam escape. The flaw is that the actual handle is fixed directly above it so the holding handle gets very hot and you can't hold and pour without a rag or cloth to not get burned. Seems like a lazy design, especially in other kettles I've seen and used. Maybe a heat reducing rubber coating would work or moving the holes to the sides of the actual lid and not directly under the handle. I'd expect this type of design in a off brand but not Kitchenaid.
