Perfect Little Tool!
I use this regularly to blend milk or water into cream of chicken soup. It is fast and works way better than a whisk, not to mention way easier to clean!

Does the Liquid Blending Rod Work
I love my kitchen aid hand mixer, but have not had success with the Liquid Blending Rod. I end up using my mixer. I am wondering if I am using it incorrectly, but in the directions, there are none for the blending rod. I guess I will continue to use my blender. I would recommend the mixer, not the blending rod. not SS - just a rubbish plastic blender head - useless
misrepresented and completely ineffective. i bought the whole hand-mixer kit just for this feature that doesn't do the job claimed (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Love my mixer, not the accessories.
I've tried this blending rod a number of times, it doesn't work. Hot soups, cold shakes - it does nothing to the food. No smoothing or breaking down of any kind. Disappointing because I've used them in the past, and with the power of this mixer it could be a great tool! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
