Great product! My hair brushes have never looked better.
Really pleased with this product, works well to remove hair from both mine and children's brushes with very little effort.
Another well-engineered product: How many hairbrushes have I thrown away because the hair turned to dust that surrounded each of the teeth & it was just too much trouble to clean? This brush PROLONGS the life of (even the cheap ones) all of my brushes. If the regular bristles don't get it out of your brush, the stainless prongs at the bottom will. It takes up so little space to be so helpful in keeping my hair-life simple & clean! Everybody who uses a hairbrush need one of these!
This brush cleaner makes cleaning my hairbrush so fast and satisfying. It gets rid of trapped hair and buildup with ease, and it helps keep my brushes looking fresh and working better. Such a simple tool, but it makes a huge difference in my routine.

I have a boat bristle brush and it's so incredibly difficult to keep it clean. I've tried many different methods, but this brush cleaner tops them all by far!! In just a minute, I was able to get most of the dust and fuzzies that had eluded my most arduous attempts to clean my hair brush. Oh, all the time I've wasted in the past. Wish I had bought this YEARS ago!!
I love this brush cleaner! I've been looking for something like this for a while. I have long thin hair that I do not wash every day and it collects a lot of dust somehow. My hair brush always ends up full of dust and residue - I can never seem to get it clean enough and then the dust gets knitted up in my hair. The brush cleaner has saved so much annoyance. It's easy and comfortable to hold - so glad I got it! I would love to see it paired with some kind of brush bar shampoo or spray to clean the oily residue off.

It does a passable job in my opinion but I think that some of the nylon bristles were coming out of the brush while I was using it. This is why I'm giving it 3 stars. If I had used it frequently I would understand but unfortunately it was happening when I tried it out the first time.
I have been just throwing away my brushes cause I couldn't get them cleaned enough. When I saw this I was very happy. When I got it it worked well for the most part. On my brushes I get these little tight rings around each bristle peg (not sure what to call it). I try to just use my fingernails and pull it up over the top of the peg but being the head of the peg is a tiny bit bigger that doesn't work. It's to tiny to use scissors and I end up ripping the peg out of the brush trying to work it over the top of it. So I thought this was perfect but it didn't do exactly what I wanted but it definitely cleaned up my brushes. I figured out just keep scrubbing with the bristles and use the poker to get the ones that are stuck on the bottom of the peg. So I won't have to throw away so many. I just wish it had like a sharper thinner metal ends to be able to get rid of those little tightly wound lint, hair rings or whatever it is at the bottom of every bristle but you can't always be perfect. I also learned wetting it doesn't make it easier.
