Initially, i find it hard to use as it seems like it is not holding my hair up in a bun or pony tail. But after some practice, i finally get the hang of it and totally love them! It is way better than my regular ponytail as using one of these holds my bun in place the entire day. Don't get frustrated if you feel like it is not working. Just try practicing more and it using it will become a breeze afterwards. I recommend them especially those that like to put their hair in a bun.

I've been concerned about my thinning hair as I age (+ throw in hypothyroidism for free) inching towards 50. These "twirly" hair ties have become my favorite product when pulling my hair back without temple pressure or losing 1,000,000 strands unnecessarily throughout the day. They're more gentle than you're even thinking right now cuz I was a skeptical too. This is a really great product for updos or other fancier hair styles. If you've already curled your hair and don't want to kink it, it's perfect. However, for a day to day ponytail, it's probably not worth the additional effort as you get about the same amount of lift from coils.

This is a very interesting product. I will say it was hard to get the hang of at first but I found it held decent for my curly hair. It is a little hard to get a right hold, but it does hold.

I haven't quite figured out this product. I have very thick hair and it never seems right enough. I'm going to keep trying but every time I do I just end up switching to a regular hair tie because it's easier

These do work OK in place of a barrette for keeping the top of my hair back. However, they are a little more fiddly and I still have not found a good use for them that other products can't fufill.
