Works nicely to keep the heat trapped in. Regular plastic caps don’t grip my head as well so I feel like the deep treatments penetrated better. The foil like material allows more heat to steam up in there, allowing the cuticles to open more. The material is starting to wear away a bit, I’ve used it for about a month now. So probably will just last a couple more months. The brown you see in the cracks of the cap is my wood floor to give you an idea of what I mean in regards to the wear and tear.

I ordered a few of the items, but I truly love the hair -wrap towel for my wet hair. It fits perfectly and I no longer feel like I am damaging my hair. I also purchased the night wrap beanie which is the best thing I have ever used on my hair. No more sleeping on my hair!

I use this for both coloring my hair and overnight deep conditioning. While it is a bit 'noisy' bc afterall, it's made with aluminum, it's not overwhelming. I am sensitive to sounds so it kept me awake the first couple of nights. After that, I was used to it..However, after using it, (unless I deep condition right after coloring) I just rinse it out, leave it to dry and it's ready to go again.It does have a slight odor but I'm also a supertaster/smeller. I pick up on things others don't so you may not notice.It's 100% worth the cost. In fact, I'd pay more than it cost!

When you put this on after you shampooed your hair and conditioned your hair and you but your oil in your hair to sit for like 15 to 20 minutes if you got that time to do it..And place your hot hat on top of this reusable foil wrap I cannot complain how my hair and the oil just remained moisturizing in my hair when I took the the foil wrap off and the hot hat off I placed on top of it..First of all I just rinsed the foil wrap with water pat dryed it and it is good to go for another use I was skeptical of the foil wrap on my hair plus now that I was placing my hot hat on top of it for extra warmth and set it on a timer for 15 to 20 minutes I thought I hope this foil wrap underneath does not catch on fire or start steaming I did stop just to see if it would nope or i thought the foil wrap would start breaking up in pieces but nope that did not happen. It worked just fine man I could feel the double heat of protection and the oil just soothing my scalp and hair it was nice I must say if you got the time to do so but I would probably do it for 10 minutes to 15 because after I set the timer for 20 let's just say it was warm I made it but my hair was nice and soft and then I retwisted it ..And I was good to go after..I will repeat this process again I found it to be a helpful addition to my hair care.

I like to hear deep condition me and my children'ªs hair- however my 13 year old son doesn' like to sit under the dryer so I figured this would be the next best thing- no rips or tears in the cap thus far so I know if he could handle it then this will be a winner! Happy I didn' buy the cheap caps with more in the package! A great tool to go along our healthy hair journey!

I ordered this with a re-heatable flax seed cap- and I love how it keeps the product on my hair and the cap clean. I fit my head/hair fine, and it's itchy or scratchy at the edges. So far it has held up well, I rinse it with warm water after use and air dry it.

Easy to use and avoid sitting under an electric heat cap for hours. This did generate enough heat for me while on my head and was also able to do chores around the house at the same time. Great.. if you need more intense heat this may not be for you. I have used it more than once and it remains intact.

I like the foil cap to allow the conditioner to spend time conditioning without getting wet. However I would like it better if it were a little larger. I use a clip to hold up my hair under the cap and it is a tight fit that doesn't allow the cap to completely cover the nape of my neck while it covers the front hairline.
