Although there was a delay in the delivery process. The battery pack strap is good it's last long and not only affordable compared to the meta official one but comfortable and easy to use and put on the headset. The battery does last for a long time with the strap and I am able to get more game play which is awesome. Kiwi is really the best for cheap and high quality straps for metaquest in my opinion
I bought two of these headsets, paid a little over $50 each and cannot stress enough how happy my GF and I are with the product. The headset is extremely easy to install, extremely comfortable and with the extended battery pack stacked with the original headset battery gives hours of game time. I recommend this headset as it will definitely be a major game changer.
Really enjoying the comfort of the strap design and extended VR playtime. The battery charges up both the battery strap and my Quest 3 headset at the same time! You'll need a 40w fast charger though for quick charging. I highly recommend you pick one up and ditch the strap that comes standard asap.
Very comfortable strap. I find it holds firm during high fitness and high activity games. Charges quickly and uses K4 battery first keeping the head set charged. For my uses I never run out of charge. Could do with a switch so it doesn't discharge battery when not in use and not on charge.
I am give it 4 stars as it is comfortable, easy to take headset on and off. The one bad thing I have found that it continues to charge the headset battery all the time even when in sleep or off. Which just drain the strap battery. I find it best to keep it unplugged until headset battery get low and the. Plug in the strap to charge headset.
Comfortable. Feels solid and expensive. But one thing makes me cry - if it is connected to Oculus then it constantly provides power even in Oculus is fully charged.. so green led will be constantly on on the Oculus... Needs some on/off switch or some technology that would sence that internal battery is full and then it stops charging oculus
Love the fact that it really does extend gameplay by quite a bit. Seem pretty decent build quality as well and is easy to put together. It's also fairly comfortable, but loses one star because it's not as stable as the original strap that comes with the Meta Quest. Any I've tried umpteen combinations to get the fit as good as possible. I only bought the Kiwi because I'm a Kiwi myself (yeah I know, I'm a bit sad given that it's not even an NZ product), but I'm happy with my purchase. I went and bought Kiwi controller grips based purely on the quality of the headset.
The K4 Boost Battery Strap is great. I find the strap to be a lot more comfortable than what you get with the Meta Quest 3. My only complaint is that the charging port for it is in a little bit of an awkward spot for me. As it is on the bottom of the battery and makes charging it a little more difficult, but that's juste being picky. Overall, I can definitely recommend this for anyone trying to find something to both increase playtime and the comfortability of your VR headset.
I'm happy with the strap. It adds extra juice for meta quest 3 and extending time for fun. . The only grip is that it is not very comfortable to use it when laying on the back due to the thickness on the back of the strap. But when seating or standing it is doing its job correctly.
I saw many reviews that this was the one to get. But after full charge and next day trial, the quest 3 kept ping that low charging rate and the battery straight up died. And had to switch back to the straight plugged in method. The Factory quest 3 headset didn't last too long but at least it charged. Currently attempting to charge it once again but looking for a replacement to replace the Kiwi with on amazon. Most don't if it dies again back to amazon it will go, don't have the time to mess around with wishing it charges and retains charge, rather it just works. PS: started to recharge it again and within a few minutes goes to one light to lights doing the charging 1,2,3,4 lighting and now nothing. Tried to test it and went from 100% on only battery to 98% in a minute and when charger re-inserted. The pining started again.... it's going back. BAD BUY. Oh! to be honest it was comfortable. only way I gave it more than one start.
