Kix Whole Grain Breakfast Cereal, Crispy Corn Cereal Puffs, Family Size, 18 oz

I love Kix myself, but a few years ago I started regularly buying a couple boxes at a time because they're an excellent training tool and fun-time game for my dog. As the years passed he was starting to "fill out his jeans", so to speak, so I wanted something snacky to offer that wouldn't put weight on him. Kix turned out to be ideal. A serving for a person is 1 ½ cups, and it's so lightweight, that's only 160 calories. For my dog I measure out one cup at treat time. The Kix fit into his little rolling treat ball, and he thinks that's just great! I like me a bonus, and Walmart has them. When I buy two boxes at a time, Walmart gives me $1.00 back, and with a subscription they're shipped to my house. It seems extravagant to make those big trucks stop out here for two boxes of cereal, but I live almost 20 miles from the closest store. It helps a lot. As to nutrition, the 1 ½ cup serving has one sorry gram of fat, and that's unsaturated. It also serves up 4g of sugar (slightly less than a teaspoon), 3g of fiber, 11 mg of iron, and a lot more. You could do worse.

I have always liked this. I started getting hungry after I just had yogurt for breakfast so I made a bowl of it. Then that ran into gotta have another bowl. Then after lunch another bowl. Now I have had it sometimes after dinner too. It is a really good price. If you want sugar add it just stir it up, fold it in to the milk. I don't let it sit long enough to get soggy it's gone.

my 2.5 yo daughter loves these balls so much, and a good thing for me as a parent is that they both delicious and don't leave greasy sweet residue on hands, the hands are always clean after eating these puffy balls. This is my always to-go snack

Great tasting cereal and works as a great snack too. Little ones can easily grab them and eat them and our great granddaughter loves to grab them off her highchair tray and munch them down for any meal! Kids of all ages love this cereal and the crunch it has is part of its draw. Enjoy some today!

One of the few cereals that aren't loaded with artificial garbage... tastes okay plain as a snack, or with some fructose in milk! That Bluey version is loaded with blue dye, yuck. Get this old school goodness instead!

this is a lightly sweetend cereal. it hold its crunch in milk. my great grandchildren 2 year old and 3 years old pick this cereal every visit. i eat it as a snck

An old favorite that meets the test of time! Kix cereal continues to be a family favorite. It's affordable and satisfying

One of my favorite cereals since I was a kid (and I am now a senior citizen). As a diabetic it is nice to have a non-sugar coated cereal, however it does spike my glucose. Any way to adjust that?

Idk what happened to kix. They are so small now look like lil pellets. And taste like dust.. remember that golden round slightly sweet cereal that was simply but good.. WELL THIS AINT IT !!!.. they have you paying almost 7 dollars for a box of cereal that all cereal needs to go back to the old recipe corn flakes ain't even good no-more

What happened to this product? They used to be so good and now they are really bad. Tastes nothing like they used to. Overly sweet and poor quality corn. I did not enjoy. I don't recommend this cereal.
