I have made a lot of old fashion fudge. But every time I would get so nervous about the knowing when the exact time to take it off the heat. With this device it's a lot less strenuous. Also I saw my great grand son whom is 3 shining it out the patio door to have the cats do flips.
I purchased this to check the temperature of my cast iron pans prior to making steak. Does the trick each time would definitely buy again! build quality good as well
I was actually surprised at how easy it was to work. Not sure but for some reason, I guess I had the thought for the longest time, it would be less intuitive.
one whole chicken 165° I believe, donut oil between 250°-265°, and familiarizing any hot spots on my cast iron cookware all within a quick point and shoot ... no worries 👍
it is a good thing to have when checking temperature on the griddle and can be used on other things like a grill or smoker
I purchased the Kizen because of its large temp. range reliability rating, heavy duty life time warranty, plus 2 % accuracy and battery type.
Bought this as a secret santa gift. Person changed their wish list so rather than return, I kept this. Lightweight but seems rather cheaply made. However, so far it works well and has been handy checking for drafts around the house.
