Works well for helping sit someone up on the side of the bed who cannot sit up on her own or help by pushing herself up any.

It does serve its purpose. I would like it better if the Velcro flap was attached to the belt. It comes in handy when you need to turn your patient on the bed and you have no other assistance.

Too small (it's approx 50” across) for this man,
Knew it would be too small when I opened it. Folded it in half and laid it across his chest - it didn't reach across. He's 6'3” and 195 lbs. I tried it anyway, placing it under his arms instead of outside his arms. Still difficult to pull him to his side and the separate strap meant to hook to the bed rail was too short. And it hurt him when I tried to pull him on his side. It could work for a smaller person that could possibly help you turn them and help a little to stay on their side. But It measures only a smidgen over 50 inches wide. The strap measures a smidgen under 16 inches. It seems that if the person you need to turn is small enough to fit this you might not need a device to help you
