great item. I appreciate being able to get items like this from walmart. The tape measure was the brand I wanted and it seems very durable.

NOTE: I was given this for free as a part of the Kline Crusaders program. This is my honest take on this tape & I will compare to the Milwaukee 48-22-5225 that I purchased. To start, the Kline actually feels slightly lighter. Both tapes are fairly good sized & fit well in the h&, no "winner" here. The # on the Kline tape are HUGE & provide for EASY viewing on all measurements down to 1/8". The Milwaukee # are not undersized per-say but they certainly aren't largein comparison. While the Milwaukee provides mm increments it's not something I personally use often enough to care about. The bottom side of the Kline features a Conduit Bending Multiplier guide. Not something I'd use right now but certainly might come in h&y in the future. The Kline didn't quite stand up to the 9 1/5 foot standout but it beat the Milwaukee at 100". Both tapes have a magnet & double hook on the end. If you're looking for a strong magnet, the Kline wins this one. I was able to hang the Kline at 5' from a grid ceiling using only the magnet. The hooks on the Kline are also much larger for better grip. The lock on the Kline sounds a bit plastic-ey & feels cheap but currently provides a strong hold on the tape when locked. The Milwaukee feels much more rigid but they both seem to function the same, so far. The Kline also features a "temporary" lock on the bottom of the tape that you just squeeze to hold instead of having to completely lock the tape from moving. Belt Clip. I'm going to have to give this one to Milwaukee. Both clips easily slide on & off your pocket or belt w/o catching but the Milwaukee provides much tighter grip. I attached both to a piece of plexi glass & the Kline slides right off while the Milwaukee refused to come off without a lot of force. Overall, I think this is a great piece of hardware & would certainly get the same rating had I purchased it. There's nothing in the Kline Crusaders program rules that says I have to post a positive review, it just said honest.

The feature that really stands out is the bold lines every 1/8” that make quick, at a glance measurements possible. These lines are great in low-light conditions and when reading at a distance. The speed brake on the bottom is also appreciated, it feels solid and responsive at slow and fast retractions. The button is large enough for 1-2 fingers and feels ergonomic when in use.. The other feature that really makes this pretty cool is the Conduit Bending Multiplier Table on the bottom of blade, it is convenient having that handy. Construction feels solid. I have thrown, dropped, slid, and crushed this tape and operation still feels new. Also, the orange body makes it easy to find tape at night. The metal pocket clip meets expectations, but I would have preferred a thick rounded wire clip. That style is more comfortable when used with belt. The nylon coating on tape is advertised to protect printing on tape, but I don't think I've used it long enough to see benefit. I do however think that it helps keep the blade clean as it has been easier to wipe off mud and dirt. The magnetism on the hooks is the perfect balance. Strong enough to stay where you want it, but still easy enough to remove. I was able to get the 9 1/2 FT standout as advertised. 1.10 lbs is completely acceptable. This tool is made overseas. I would suggest checking out the “American Manufacturing” page on their website. I believe the information there will strengthen your confidence when buying from Klein Tools. As an apprentice electrician I've started down the rabbit hole of tool collection. I'm happy to have gotten such a great tape measure early in my career and I do highly recommend it to others. Three others on the job with me now each have one of their own. Great quality and great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Measuring tape about a month ago. The quality of the construction alone sold me on Klein tape measures. The magnetic end and width of the blade really make it worth the purchase.

This tape measure is very easy to read and very easy to use with its magnetic double hooked end. It is also very durable.

This was gifted to me. The case was to big for my hands, the bottom stop button isn't needed. I've always used my finger to hold the tape out and the button made a big case even bigger. It did get left out in the rain and the spring seized up due to rust. It's an ok tape measure for a backup but not my go to tape.
