These are top notch pliers. They are not inexpensive but they are built to serve a lifetime. I own quite a few Klein Tools brand hand tools and the quality is very good. I think Klein Tools and Knipex are the best of the best as far as hand tools are concerned. If you are considering these pliers you can't go wrong especially if you buy them from Walmart.com.
Using in my electrical classes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The title says it all. I have tried a good number of the good, the bad, and the "so called" elite in the tool industry. I have bought and used the american brands, german, chinese, and everything between. Klein's are the best. No one does it better. Period stop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still have my original lineman's from 7 years ago I still use for certain jobs, I bout a new pair about 3 years ago due to the fact that I blew up the original pair, (obviously my fault) Klein lineman's are the best, they will last forever just as long and you don't blow them up ;)
I've had these for almost 2 years now and I use them daily. They've held up insanely well against all the abuse they take. Still cuts wire like a dream, crimps easily, and the fishtape puller really comes in handy for hard pulls. The handles are super comfortable and there's not a single thing I don't like about them. 10/10 would recommend!
These are the absolute best Lineman pliers from the people who know Lineman pliers better than anybody. I am a diesel locomotive electrician by trade. We wire and troubleshoot machines with miles of wire and cable, hundreds of components, and dozens of panels and enclosures. I use these on EXANE wire from 22 AWG to 3 AWG. Tons of leverage for tough cuts, hardened for the occasional screw or steel wire and super comfortable handles with the profile I am used to. The integrated fish tape puller is great for those hard pulls and the crimper is great to have on hand in the field. In a pinch, I can cut, strip, and crimp about anything with this one tool. These are Klein's most expensive Lineman pliers and are worth every stinkin' penny. Klein, keep making them right, and keep making them in the USA!
I bought these as my very first set of Linesman pliers back in 2014 and this exact set saw me all the way through my entire apprenticeship and still are in the toolbox and used every day. Cannot believe how well they have aged; they have only gotten smoother with age. Besides oiling them and wiping them down I've done very little maintenance to keep them this well. Paired with the excellent construction and very useful features these pliers will last any electrician new or young for years to come.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried all other brands of pliers and none of them perform like a Klien.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a great hammer, nail remover, stake puller, fish tape puller, handle for sting and mule tape and its alright for pre twisting wires i supose.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So useful having the crimping feature on your pliers!
