If you are in the market for a great pair of wire strippers, these are your tool. Improved handle design and tool head. These things make everything easy. From twisting wire pairs, cutting screws and stripping wires from 18 AWG to 10AWG. I highly recommend these are your next purchase. I have lent them out to a few guys at work and they all raved about how good they felt. Made in the USA quality for any tradesman. Thank You Klein. #kleintools #kleincrusaders
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've seen these for a while and thought they were just a waste of money but finally broke down and bought a pair and I couldn't be more happy. Of course they're is no replacing the Klein lineman pliers but these heavy duty strippers really come close. Grips feels so good and the pliers grab onto the wires tight too. Probably one of my favorite tools now
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a couple years ago and loved it right away. When doing service calls I don't have to carry as many tools that way in homes and businesses less tools means quicker worktimes and less chance of damaging customers things. And also after a couple years of hard use quality seems to be on point. Highly recommended
This tool has completely replaced my normal wire strippers and linemans. The pressed joint makes them last 10x longer than normal riveted strippers and offer a much more comfortable grip than any other. The wide plier tips also make a great replacement for linemans pliers allowing my tool belt to be lighter than before. Only stripper I'll ever buy now
Sponsored: Great pliers and Klein quality. While I'm not generally a fan of combination tools, these do make for ergonomic strippers and can perform many functions of lineman's pliers. Can twist a couple of 12 ga wires easily. Long handles and strong jaws let me cut heavier wire. The lock on these took a little getting used to. After some use, it became pretty ergonomic. On larger jobs I will probably stick with smaller, dedicated strippers. They allow me to keep the work close to my hands for more control. On small jobs, it is very handy to stick these pliers and a screwdriver on my back pocket and run in and change out a fixture, switch, etc.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I almost never use my lineman's anymore. These strippers and a pair of diagonal cutters and I'm good to go.
I absolutely love this tool and would recommend it to any electrician or HVAC guy. One of my favorite tools.
I purchased this the first week out at my supplier. Wasn't sure about the bulky construction, but I found them to be my go to stripper for every application, I have a pair in my truck door that goes with me for everything from inspection to quickly check out something. I keep a 2nd pair in my service bag and a 3rd inside my construction bag. Handy for so many tasks, stripper stays sharp and the crimping is comfortable in your hands and the blunt nose is durable enough to take out as many square D knockouts you can find. Only downside is the thumb lock can be bothersome because it's very loosely fitted to the pivot arm.
Took a bit to get used to but as a maintenance sparky they are handy as hell and lighten the load in the pockets, but the dang lock always catches so they don't auto open
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always gets the job done and stays sharp and cuts on first try
