Klein Tools MM300 600V 2M Ohm Manual-Ranging Digital Multimeter

This is a sturdy easy to read multimeter and can do most thing you'll need it for. The stand and cable storage is nice too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happened upon a great price for this multi-meter when I needed one for some 3D Printing projects, integrating electronics with prints and needing to check voltage on some buck converters and LEDs. The device seems solid and the functionality is very straightforward. Would definitely buy this again!

I have used Klein tools for over 40 years and I bought this MM300 Multimeter to do simple household functions, and to test my cars AGM batteries. The unit works really well for me, at a very reasonable price. It is well made, robust and easy to use.

I buy Klein assuming longevity and reliability. This meter has failed on both accounts. After one year of good service, the meter is headed to the recycling. It currently it reads -213vac on the 600v scale, and -14.9v on the 200v scale, with no leads attached. Last time I used it I had funky readings too. Spurious results mean the tool cannot be trusted. Where the MM300 feels good and appears to be well build, please buy something better. This unit should not have the Klein name on it.
