The unit performed perfectly. I had trouble getting wifi connected. Called support. Assistance was great. They worked with me. My concern that the unit was draining improperly was misguided as that efficency was much higher than other units I own. It cooled rooms rapidly, and then the compressor shut down.
purchased few months back i have a large open 1500 sqft room with 12' ceilings it was during changing of seasons but i was a le to try the heat and seems to blow good amount of heat but wasnt able to test it in winter months but it did seem to warm the room up from 40 degrees to 65 in no time. As of today with summer ive used the a/c a few times and was surprised how cool it turned the room the turbo function really blew good amount of air and cooled down the room. True test will be next winter

I know, why am I rating this product if I haven't used it yet? Well, because delivering a product right on time, that's coming from a thousand mile away, especially one that's big enough to ship on a pallet, is a feat in and of itself. I have to say, I'm impressed. The puchase and delivery went very smoothly. The Walmart.com price was competitive and all inclusive. The shipper/seller (Heat%26Cool.com) was very helpful and responsive. The mini split arrived via Fedex freight and was unloaded curbside. The pallet was brought to my door and I was given ample time to inspect the merchandise (Wow! Though the driver said it wasn't necessary, I gave him a tip anyway). The mini came in three boxes, with no damage, not a scratch, while all the little extras (remote, batteries, pipe wrap, etc) were all present. Now, I won't be installing for a few more weeks but looking at the installation instructions is a real bummer (my only complaint so far) because they are HORRIBLE: Poorly written and not specific to the model I purchased. Fortunately for me, a good manual is not vital because I have DIY mini split experience. But for a newbie, with such crappy instructions to work with and no instructional videos provided by Klimaire, installation will be a nail-biter for sure. That's all I have on the Klimaire DIY 18k mini split. I may report back in a few months after installation. Good luck.
My biggest complaint after buying 5 units is that costumer service is extremely difficult to get ahold of. I have caller and left messages over and over still haven't got a call back . I was told to call back for warranty registration and now its too late because after many calls and messages I was ignored
Can not register product on Klimarie online site, resets you over and over. Items missing from mini split set kit.
