Was looking to improve on some pretty mediocre 20 year-old home theater in a box speakers as my front speakers in a 5.1 set up driven by a Pioneer 80w/ch AVR. So that wasn't very hard to do. I spent some good amount of time researching and Klipsch brand obviously was going to get some attention. Their speakers seem to be highly rated across the board. As with most things in life you're generally going to get what you pay for, and I was on a budget but wanted to maximize my bang for my buck. The speakers across the Klipsch reference series share a lot of components… but in my application, I'd need speaker stands for bookshelf. No way to get the 6.5 inch woofer and stands below 300 and the next tower with two of the 6.5 inch woofers is twice the price of these. The 610Fs got great reviews and I went in that direction, and have no regrets. They are as advertised, and fill in the low end admirably. Gone is the bass localization that was apparent with my previous speakers, along with significantly improved fullness and clarity. Very pleased with their performance and value.
I bought these to replace the Klipsch RP-6000F that I lost in the flood we had here in East TN last year. While not on that level of course these are very close with my current setup. Considering how much cheaper these speakers are compared to the original I am thrilled. Close enough for me. I had a NAD 7100 driving the others and now I have a NAD 326 powering these. Couldn't be happier.
great units
I ordered these for our son for Christmas. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed w/Covid on Christmas Eve after a few symptoms. He?s diabetic so had a rough go. We postponed our Christmas, will have our get together soon. But we wanted to get the speakers to him. We took the two huge boxes over and sat them in their garage. He just opened them on January 3rd and really happy with the performance. He was in a band for awhile and appreciates quality sound. <br />So on his behalf, I would definitely say I would recommend them to others.
The Speakers sound great, have decent bass, great mids and highs. And at the price I got them from at Adorama, they are really great. With that being said, I will still be picking up a Subwoofer for my setup soon, cause it can never hurt to have one!
Very solid well-built they sound amazing actually a lot better than my jamo floor standers I have much more clearer highs and the mids and the bass are very well balanced would I recommend them yes I would and to top everything off I got a fantastic deal
Everything I've bought there has been brand new, for half the price as everywhere else. Now I've got to buy two elevation speakers and a new reciever. Then I'll have Dolby atmos in my living room and Dolby digital plus in my bedroom for a very low cost.
Awesome deal at 300 for a pair of towers. Highs are very detailed and there is a surprising amount of low end for a 2.0 system. Sound great and are a great entry level purchase.
These speakers sound and look beautiful. Great addition! The shipping was surprisingly quick and they arrived safe and secure. Super pleased with the entire process!
The speakers arrived extremely fast. Set up was a breeze and the sound that they've added to my home theater setup has been amazing. But to get all that for under $250 was basically a steal. Highly recommend these speakers.
