At first it wasn't when I set it up, it didn't pull any moisture, took about 2 days. After 2 days, it started working real good. I put it in my bedroom to pull moisture out of the closets. I live in a remodeled basement where I get alot of dampness. it works quite well in my small bedroom. It's designed for small rooms and it does the job. Definitely worth the price. It even has a nite lite that chages color how cool is that!
I was pleasantly surprised by how well this works. The KLOUDIC 33Oz Dehumidifier Small Dehumidifiers for Room 280sq.ft performs better than I expected and is easy to use. I do think my master bathroom may be a little too large for it to pull as much moisture as it probably would in a smaller room, but overall I'm happy with it.
I used it for the first time last night in a room that gets stuffy and a little too humid overnight (true - windows are an issue, but this is a whole lot less expensive than new windows right now!!) It's nice and quiet 👍 The light can be turned off, if desired 👍 It grabbed a few tablespoons out of the air overnight, and this morning the air in that room didn't feel as heavy 👍 Actually, I felt the difference in air quality first, and was surprised to see so little had been collected, but it helped!! After I finish this review I will be ordering another for an adjacent room 👍 I did see on the instruction card that it works optimally in rooms with at least 60% humidity. The room it was in last night has a temperature/humidity gauge, so I can confidently state that the humidity in that room doesn't get that high (it just *feels* thick). Either way, it worked well enough for me to want to get another!! Highly recommend!! 👍
I'm not sure where to even start with this, I was honestly astonished at just how much water this little device was able to pull from the bathroom air in a matter of days. After only 2 days of use, it had collected at least a half cup of water. I love that it also features color changing lights or I can choose to keep it straight blue. It's very quiet and fits in small spaces easily. We've had a leaky shower for over a year at least and were constantly having issues with mold forming in the bathroom from just how much water is in the air alone. Since using everything feels dry despite being a bathroom.
This is the best humidifier I've ever owned. It is so quiet you don't even know it's on, and it doesn't make that bubbling noise like some other humidifiers do. I also love that it has a filter and is super easy to clean. Definitely recommend this one!
It's very small and easy to use. it's very quiet that you can barely hear the fan is running. my room sometimes is very humid because I have fish, and this humidifier really improves the air in my small room, which is very nice. love this functional and small product!
Just received it today and opened it up, plugged it in .. Checked within the hour, and it had a few tablespoons of water in it already. It is a pretty humid Florida day. It's filling up as I type this. So I am satisfied so far. It's hard to say after only hours of plugging it in. So I left one star off because I just started using it.
the LED is cute, it's super quiet, but one less star because i have to leave it on permanently to feel any noticable difference. the LED slowly changes color but you can also choose a solid color. it's dim enough that it can function as a night light, easy on the eyes in the dark. it is whisper quiet, won't hear anything at all unless you're right up next to it. it does function a bit slower than larger models.
It looks and runs like they described. I haven't been able to use it to see if it actually collects moisture bcuz the unit won't collect any unless the humidity lvl is something like 60% or higher according to the doc. My humidity is less than 50%, and when i ran it for like 30 mins, it was bone dry, not a drop. So i have to wait till humid day. Lights work nicely and noise is low. Only thing that was odd/inconsistent was that the power adapter said 10V 2.4A, which should equate to 24W power consumption, but instead, my KillAWatt tool measured it at 42W. So 42W is still alot of energy in times when our energy bill has nearly doubled in few months if it's not going to collect any moisture. So u want to keep it off until humidity is high. And that's where the deficiency of this unit is evident. When u plug the power into the unit, it goes into standby mode and u have to manually press the power button to turn it on. So u can't run it on a timer adapter. It needs a built in humidistat so it can auto turn on/off at specific humidity %. U do not want it jst turned on forever raising your power bill and collecting no moisture and wearing down the circuit. So if u want to put this in the basement, u have to go down there and manually turn it on when humidity goes up. Else, u'll jst have to run it 24/7. If u have forever humid basement, it should b good. Otherwise, it's use is mainly designed for in bedroom or living room where u walk up to it and turn it on manually. Hopefully i get a humid day soon to test it within returnable period. Otherwise i'm stuck with it. I can tell u that if i leave a 16oz bottle of ICE, it will immediately collect moisture. So it's worse than a bottle of ICE. But if it works at higher humidity, it would b better than making ice bottles.
Right out of the box I knew it had been used.... the packaging was not proper. I assembled it then plugged in the cord...it beeped once and kept blinking a red light. I read the paperwork, went through the recommended steps and nothing. I'm returning this dehumidifier. I cannot rate the efficacy of the product because of the condition I received it in.
