I bought this helmet about a month ago after a buddy recommended the brand. He was spot on. Picked it up for $40 and it's the best helmet I've used in the sub $200 category. Better than anything HF puts out and larger viewing window than my Lincoln. It's become my go to hood.
Bought this while It was on sale for $53 because I was in need of a better shield. My old one had this harsh green tint to it while with this one, is more visible with a tad green tint but it's a night and day difference. I totally recommend this shield for anyone that is looking for a new affordable one.
This welding mask came up as a daily special for like $50. I was just welding the week prior with a small viewing window one and it was getting very annoying. Large viewing window are the only ones to get. It doesnt have an off switch, just set your dials on the side and start welding. I had a coworker pay $450 for a mask. He was a tool, way overpaid. This mask is great, plus if it happens to fail or just wear out in the next few years I can replace it several times over to just get to what he paid.
I bought this to use at home for amall projects. I am pleased with the quality and function. We use Lincoln, Miller, and esab at work and this is as comfortable and works as well as those.
I have had this helmet a little over a month and it is great. Large, clear glass with excellent response time. It out performs an older 3M Speedglass that i was using and the cost was less.
The Klutch 1400 auto-darkening welding helmet works very well. I am 100% satisfied with it. The adjustment controls are very easy to use and set up for your personal use. The view is good enough to see a large area.
I bought this a few months ago and I'm very happy with it. The helmets has lots of features for different situations. A very good buy
For the price it is far better than my other welding helmet. I can actually see when I am welding! I am glad I purchased it. Some reviews said it wasn't comfortable, but I have to disagree with those. At this price point it is very comfortable.
If you buy this helmet to take to your full time job welding all day, you'll be disappointed. Although this is a good helmet and perfect for the home hobbyist it has some discouraging attributes that you do not want to fuss with all day. The knobs on the side of the helmet to adjust the lens move too easily. This would be a great helmet if they had some sort of friction lock on them. As they are now, they spin like a roulette table. The ratcheting head gear is nice but cheap, so we'll see how long that lasts. It might sound like I'm bashing this helmet, I'm not. I'm just saying don't buy this thing expecting it to be a $200 helmet. It's a great buy for use at home in the garage is all I'm saying.
This is a good auto darkening with a large sight window. Would recommend to non professional welder but good upgrade for students or at home welder.
