The light is a welcome addition that most rock/gem kits do not include. Good assortment of rocks The booklet also includes experiments.

The Light-Up Rock and Gem
The Light-Up Rock and Gem Collection kit looks very interesting. My husband & I have collected rocks for years & are going to give this kit to our granddaughter in a couple of weeks because she likes hiking & the great outdoors. We plan to spend time with her working on this & expand to a more extensive hobby.
