Klymit Insulated Static V Sleeping Pad, 72x23x2.5in, Orange

Easy to inflate/deflate. I have back problems but this was comfortable enough for the four days we spent in the BWCA. This product is very lightweight, small and easy to pack. I recommend this product.

Initially I was worried because it looked very thin, but once filled with air it separates the fibers and creates the insulation layer. Definitely much warmer and just as supportive. Would recommend if you're looking for a light small but warm mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this product was a warranty replacement, but I found the first Insulated Static V pad I had to be a great balance of comfort and (lack of) weight. It's light, relatively compact to pack, has a solid R-value (bearing in mind that I have only exposed it to NC winters), and it's comfortable. There are other pads out there that are lighter or thicker (or even both), but this is by far the best, at this price point. Klymit also honored their limited lifetime warrantee when the baffles started to fail at the head end, which is a major plus.

I am a long distance backpacker .. I am also a side sleeper .. I have used different Therma-Rest pads and never gotten a good nights sleep ... I got this pad and experienced the best, most comfortable nights sleep EVER !!!!!!!!!!! I love this thing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Game changer! Used this on a backpacking trip through N Georgia mountains. Temps were sub freezing and this kept me comfortable and warm. I'm 5'10” and had ample room for a pillow with no feet hanging off the bottom. I tend to lay on my stomach and this pad (unlike some others) has enough density and padding to keep my arms from falling asleep and causing pain in my lower back. If you're a side sleeper it has enough plushness to eliminate your hips and shoulders pressing through to the ground. All in all, I was surprised by how much plushness comes from this pad because of the small size it rolls down too. Also very light. Best sleeping pad that I own highly recommend.

From bedroom floor, to tent floor, to cave floor, the Insulated Static V is now a staple of my on-the-go sleep system. It packs well, is durable, and is easily inflated and deflated with the flip valve. I've taken it backpacking and sent it with my 11 year old on camp outs. It's easy to use, and it holds up. I stay warm and comfortable throughout the night, and I have not had to wake up to add air to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this sleeping pad. I've been using it for about a year in overnight temperatures ranging from 9°F to 87°F. It's kept me more comfortable than any other pad I've tried. Adjusting for my softness preference is easy, and the valve is foolproof. The air pump works well, and I've even been able to get it to work while inside my 1.5 person tent - great when it's raining.

I bought this to replace my old Static V model that got stolen. Right out of the package it made a lot of noise, squeaks like a dog toy each time I moved on it throughout the night and then again while packing it up. It does pack down pretty small considering the insulated material, but I will be replacing it with something different considering how noisy it is overall. Can't really speak to the quality other than the noise, since I only used it a couple times.
