K&N Performance Cold Air Intake System: Easy Installation, Engineered to Maximize Airflow, Boost Horsepower & Torque, 57-1516

First off I want to say thank you to K&N, you guys really are the best there is. When I put this cold air intake (57-1516) on it was a big difference in response and now it sounds a lot beefier with the sound of the engine now.  I still have yet to find out if there is a difference in mpg, but I'm sure there will after the first week because in the first week I'm gonna be on the gas a little more now haha. But great product you guys. Thank you !! To anyone who is thinking about buying this product, you won't be disappointed at all! My brother just put one on his Dodge Ram and he is just as happy as I am with the cold air intake.

About a year ago, I installed a K&N cold air intake system on my 2000 Dodge Durango with the 4.7L V8. I told my wife it was for increased gas mileage, I really wanted to improve torque and HP. It took a little over an hour to install and we went for a test drive. I instantly noticed a difference in HP and torque and even the sound was more aggressive. The best part is that my wife liked the fact that I went from 17 on the highway to about 22 with cruise set. She now no longer doubts what I want to do with my vehicles because this was a great idea.

I have purchased 4 of your high flow filters and haven't been disappointed as of yet. I am an engineer by profession so being efficient is a forte' of mine both on the job and at home. I have never put one of my vehicles on a dyno, so I can't quote exact numbers. Now that being said I have noticed an improvement in mpg and throttle response in all of my vehicles that I installed a K&N filter on. I have picked up an average of 2 to 3 mpg. I also go a step further and recommend this to all that read this. Change all of your fluids to synthetic. I changed my oil, transmission and rear differential to synthetic for an additional 2 to 3 mpg. and then on my truck I installed a tounneau cover to get another 2mpg. in all I am getting 25mpg city/hwy on my 2004 Dodge Dakota and 28 hwy. Not bad considering the ratings were 19/22. Happy Motoring!!!!

I purchased this intake system (57-1516) for my truck and I have to say I absolutely LOVE it!!! It gave me a noticeable power boost. And the sound in unexplainable!! It gave my truck such a beastly grunt. I love it. I also must comment on the customer service. While installing the intake I kinda got ahead of myself and drilled a hole when I wasnt supposed to. I called up explained to the rep what I did and she said she would send me a new tube out right away. I have dealt with many car products companies and by far my satisfaction with K&N outranks all my past experiences. Thanks K&N

I should of put this system on my truck a long time ago. It increased my performance a lot and I would recommend this to anyone. You have a great product and I will be putting this on more of my vehicles.

Had a F. I. P. K. installed on my 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 V8 today what a great product and the power is something else and the sound is great love it. Thank you for a great product.

My truck runs better for sure, but my gas mileage has gone down because it is more fun to drive.
