I am very satisfied with the product. The only issue I have is that this is over my tenth time purchasing products from K&N through other dealers. I thought if I brought products from the source I would get some real stickers in order to advertise the products and display my brand loyalty. Is there any way K&N can supply me with a very large vinyl hood decal?
I ordered this product for my '08 Silverado half ton truck. Very happy with the condition it arrived in. After a little assembly installing it, it looked really good and performed just as well. The combination of long tube headers, high flow cats and cold air intake is a good one.
I just installed the FIPK intake kit (57-3058) on my Silverado VortecMax and I can't believe how disappointed I am- that I actually bought another intake kit before this one. I've had your filters on four previous vehicles and know what a great product you have, but this time wanted the whole kit, so I went a little cheaper and decided on a kit that promised to truely flow for me. I did notice a little pickup, and a really hot steel intake tube. Well, now four years later I found a great price on the K&N intake kit for my truck and pulled the trigger. Dang it. My VMax absolutely came alive. I thought that I would pick up a bit over the other kit I had, but was shocked at the difference. I will hit the track and pass on my time differences so that the masses will know the difference between flow and go. Your products are incredible and I promise to never stray again. Awesome.
I purchased a K&N cold air intake for my son's 2010 Camaro, awesome product, but is was making the traction control dash light to come on, took to the dealer and they said it was the intake from K&N. Called K&N and they confirmed it was the intake, said it was too aggressive and we needed a less aggressive K&N product. I asked how much that was going to cost and K&N said nothing! They sent me a brand new one, at no charge!! WOW! what a company. My Son received the new one and installed it, problem solved. So, this year 2013 I bought a Chevy truck, and you guessed it. I purchased a cold air Performance Intake Kit for the truck. Easy to install and made in the USA! makes my truck per, more power, and better gas mileage, just what I needed. I Love It!!! K&N has a customer for life now. Thanks K&N
This took approx. 20 min. to install in my '07 Yukon 4wd. I saw an immediate increase in horsepower and fuel economy. I had a 3 mpg increase on an interstate trip at highway speeds. At this rate it will pay for itself in no time. Just a note, make sure of fastener and washer size. They aren't too well described in the instruction sheet.
Have a Chevy 2008 5.3 Z71 4x4 and I just put my k&n aircharger air intake on, I'm very satsifited!!! I'm getting better gas mileage which is a good thing since I'm running 33's and was getting 12 avg. The aircharger is way worth the money!! Can feel the power and it makes my truck sound amazing!! Next is the magnaflow exaust (turn down duals) and can't wait to hear and feel the power with the combnation....K&N is the best period.
79 years old, started 10 AM finished install 12noon. Check engine light had been on for 3 weeks. Thought of taking truck to dealer then on second thought I would wait till after install. After install check engine went off saving me $150 bucks or more. Truck runs great. Feel like a kid again.
My Performance Intake Kit arrived within three days of ordering. It was complete and with the YouTube video as reference I was done installing in under an hour. The fit and finish of all the components really impressed me. The instructions, along with the YouTube video, showed exactly what I had to do and that made the installation very easy. Looks great and as far as I can tell early on its giving me about a mile to the gallon more than I was getting with the stock system in my normal usage. Performance is noticably improved. I look for excuses to open the hood now!
Great product! Noticeable acceleration gain and sounds great at wide open throttle. I installed this on my 2007.5 Vortec Max Silverado. Get yourself one and you will be very happy you did!
Great product. They included instructions, could use some sharpening as the details were obscured with bad print/too much contrast. The part itself works wonderfully. Power is up and my fuel economy seems to have increased a bit. It's in my daily driver, a lifted Chevy 1500 on 35" tires and it put the extra chunk of power I needed. The new sound of my engine is a nice plus too, rather quiet but picks up under load.
