Installed this on a 2005 Dodge Durango with the Hemi a year after buying the vehicle new. (has been on the Durango now for over 7 years). First thing you notice when removing the OEM air intake is all the extra sound dampner boxes and restrictive passages. The K&N is a large near-straight tube taking air directly to the throttle body. Has a nice large filter. Kind of a pain to get it off to clean due to being squeezed into a tight space but do-able. Once installed and I started up the Hemi it rev'ed up super high due to all the restriction being taken away (what it was use to). I then took it for a drive and it was night and day improvement in response and extra power. Took a week or so of driving and the computer adjusted and optimized to the new intake. Saw a tiny improvement in MPGs. The power & sound is awesome. When you get on it it really growls. If you drive conservatively it is near unnoticeable. Have had no issues with it over the years and filter has held up great. I would get it for any Hemi vehicle I own in the future.
