2007 Focus performance and mileage improved
On startup there is an air sucking sound which goes away while engine warms up. Full throttle makes an air sucking sound. Mostly quiet. Fuel mileage around town went from 27 to 30 mpg. Highway mileage is 33. I also installed the filter wrap. Acceleration is much improved.

This intake is great. I installed this in a 2008 Focus Coupe with 70,000mi, which had the factory sealed airbox and I could not change the filter. Ive had it installed for about 200 miles so far. Seriously, a noticeable difference in pedal response and power. My MPG stayed about the same but maybe that is only because I'm keeping my foot in it longer right now. Thanks K&N.
