The kit took about two hours for me to install, directions where clear and easy to understand. The look is great inside the engine bay. The car engine really opened up when I punched the throttle the roar was great and the power is noticeable. Great product.
Totally satisfied with all aspects of the kit and have now driven it for a few weeks. Design and engineering truly top-drawer and installation (instructions) were excellent. I must admit being skeptical of claims and noticeable performance increases but felt immediate results (looks and sounds good too!). From a solid bang-for-the-buck perspective this product is WELL WORTH the money and time spent. Please keep-up the good work at K&N and know that all of my vehicles are using your fine products (oil & air filters).
Installing the K&N typhoon, was simple and easy. Time it took me to complete was about half of an hour. You have to make sure you disconnect the negative terminal on battery . The results are awesome, you will notice immediately in sound and performance, Very happy
Cold air intake is worth it , def can feel the difference, make sure sensors are good , my O2 sensor went bad after I installed intake , I think it was already bad , but car felt sluggish I thought it was cause by the intake but after changing sensor I added the K&N throttle controller module …
Well, just had this installed today. And when I was pulling out of the parking noticed nothing. Buy when I was at a dead stop and hit the pedal. OMG I noticed a big difference. My car took off and I mean the acceleration was so cool !!! I mean I kept coming to a stop. Wanted to get in the other lane and mo problem doing it. Even when the other driver didn't really want me to cut in front ( you can tell. I didn't have an issue doing it. Kind of felt like a Rocket. Loads of fun.
I previously used K&N drop ins on my 2009 G37xS Sedan then recently converted to to the intake system. (Completely stock otherwise) As far as power you can feel a small difference at low RPM, at high RPM is when the power will really kick in. As far as sound it's definitely way louder around 3 - 4k RPM Would say it's worth the money
Very easy to install! No difference in sound on this vehicle. Feels a little peppier! Cleaned up the engine compartment some. Now all five of my vehicles have K&N filters! Really enjoy having reusable filters that I can maintain myself!
Fantastic product (69-7078TS). Fast and easy to install, sounds great. The extra torque and horsepower give my Z the little bit of kick it needed right off the lot. Looking forward to adding more to my car now. This is the perfect gateway mod!
Great product. Would suggest all car owners get their engines to breathe right. Save on gas and increase horsepower.
Great performance with about a 5% increase in hp for my 370Z. Mounting requires a bit of patience but done in less than 1 hour.
