K&N Performance Cold Air Intake System: Easy Installation, Engineered to Maximize Airflow, Boost Horsepower & Torque, 57-2566

Put this product on my wife's car which has almost 100,000 miles and was running very sluggish and the mileage was not what it once was. Put the assembly on the car and my wife noticed an immediate improvement in performance and it eliminated the stumble at about 2500 RPM. Changed the oil and filled up with premium gas and she drove it as she normally does and the mileage improved from 18.1 to 22.2 mpg without anything else being done to the car. We checked it over 3 full tanks and this is was the average. Wife is very happy with the product and she suggested I put it on my truck. Very happy with the results and the quality of the product. Did make it more difficult to close the hood do to the do to the gasket around the heat shield and had to work on the location of this part. Once I had it aligned no other issues. Went on a long trip and saw 28.2 mpg on the open road the the car is running better everyday.

I bought this cold air intake for my brother's '05 Mustang as a graduation present from AIT. I have the Typhoon cold air intake on my 2008 Dodge Avenger SXT 2.4L and he liked the difference in sound from before to after. It took about an hour to put on and there is a difference in sound from before and after on the Mustang as well. The only thing I didn't like between the Mustang and the Avenger was that you have to put the one line on the Mustang so if you want to put the original one back on you would have to go buy that line.

Could not be happier with the new intake. Only took me about a half hour to install... instructional pictures are small, but adequate... I have no idea if I got more power, or better MPG... but the improvement in the throttle response is worth far more than the cost of the unit. My car is a V6 w/ 5 spd manual, and I've always thought the clutch was too touchy, making it hard to drive away from a stop... well, it wasn't the clutch at all, it was poor throttle response. Installing the K&N 57-2566 has improved drive-ability 100%... I no longer have to phutz with the gas pedal to pull away from a stop... if I got more power and mileage, that's just a bonus!

This kit was very easy to install, it took about 1 hour and was ready to go. Instruction were very easy to understand and to comprehend. as there is a different feel to the Mustang, better pick and flow of air, now just to find some open road to let breathe. I will be purchasing a K&N system for my truck as well, not only for the added horse power, but also for the added gas mileage,I had one of your filters on it, and moving up to the complete kit has been a great experience. Service was excellent, and all parts arrived before schedule time Thanks.

Very easy to install! Still too soon to give detailed feedback. Will give more feedback later.
