Works great make sure to have extended deep socket wrenches. The stock air intake is a small pain to take out other than that installation was a breeze. Noticing better throttle responsive, some horse power gain ( have sti exhaust). The turbo cranking sounds great you’ll notice a huge difference. Overall no gain in gas mileage (depends on driver) obviously still avg 32ish. I would recommend this to any owner for the 2019 Wrx 2.0L. Plus throttle response crisp sound and some horse power gain normal driving. Negatives, well you’re not going to be at 7k rpm 98% of the time to get the full horse power gain
Overall good product and I am impressed with the quality at this point. Install: It was fairly easy. It was slightly difficult to disconnect the tubing at the bottom connection. It was helpful to remove the bottom plastic guard under the car to get access to the underside for the connection. I ended up using two zip ties, one around the lower pipe to prevent it from bumping the wheel well cover and the other for the oxygen sensor wire extension. I think it would have made a better product if they would have included a connection to the bottom frame like the original. Interesting results: After the install, I have a defined turbo and blow off valve sound when over 2k rpms and accelerating. It may be annoying if you don't want to hear this but I think it is okay. It is very noticable difference from the original configuration (not sure of the cause of this difference). If you like it more quiet, just get the K&N replacement filter. I also, got the dry wrap cover, hoping it will prevent bugs from getting stuck in the crevices of the filter. Hopefully it it will help.
