K&N BlackHawk Cold Air Intake System: Easy Installation, Engineered to Maximize Airflow, Boost Horsepower & Torque, 71-1542

Installation was straightforward. Engine ran extremely smooth when cruising and passing at speed. I had to scuff the new intake plenum mating surface with the conical filter for a better grip.

Looks and sounds great on my 2016 Hemi Chrysler 300s! Definitely noticed a difference in power also.

Love it, it looks great! I did get a code from the cold air intake. Is that normal? Or would it need proper tuning to remove?

Easy install and great product support

It's an easy install and is made of great quality. And makes the engine bay look clean and classy.

Very happy with my purchase and the fact that the filter is a dry filter, not oiled! Added some slight torque and HP gains but mainly allows the engine to breathe with a bit more growl under the hood. I would have given 5 stars but the installation of the air box is a bit tricky because it sits down on the AC lines and they must be slightly "moved" out of the way to allow the super tight fit of the air box.

Installed in about an hour myself just need a good ratchet set some wrenches in hard to reach spots, and make sure you put the hose clamps tight. Overall it sounds great with an aftermarket exhaust and you will notice the power gains in the higher rpms for sure.

The performance is honestly amazing, especially in the high gears. And the car feels like it's breathing better...lol. however I didn't get a good answer from c/s. I asked why I had 2 identical length hoses and inserts on the pipe w the logo. They both fit.

I was disappointed ro see there was no chrome plate on the arm that says k&n that detail was in the pic when i bought it but it works great and im happy with it.

I bought this last week. Installed it Friday night. Took way longer than it should have. I've installed several of these in the past. So far not very impressed with K&N.
