Sounds ridiculous
My truck has a pedal commander so this could be a little different if you don't not one. I was absolutely mind blown after first hearing the amount of noise that the intake was making from 1,500 to 4,200 RPM's. I have had K&N's on 6 cylinder Acural TL and 2.4 civic Si but it nothing even close to the noise that comes from my Tacoma. I used to get 16.8 to 17.5 MPGs with 2.5 lift and 33's now I am getting 18.4 to 19.7 MPG's easy

Wasn't expecting much of a difference in my stock Tacoma SR5 but wowww… highly recommended to anybody

Love this thing!
Not only was install pretty straight forward, it wasn't too tough to get it all done pretty quick. It took me about 45 minutes to actually install it, it took roughly the same to carefully remove the old parts (recommend you don't try to install this thing quickly though, it's a good beginner course for car work, fun for slightly older kids to help with)

Car wash issue.
Avoid car wash.. I soaked up water and soap in my intake and it threw my truck off.. maybe shutting it off in the wash would help. Created a self induced issue. Smh. Otherwise love it!
