Works great, lasts forever
I bought this kit more than 24 years ago when I first got my 2000 Tundra. It now has over 325,000 miles on it and still going strong. I live in a fairly dusty area here in Colorado. Previously lived in Oregon. I have only washed the filter twice. Better power right away after install. Has a nice throaty sound too. Slightly better gas mileage, but it's a truck so don't expect miracles. Oil stays very clean. This is just a great product. Only downside is that it's messy to clean and it takes a few hours to dry out after washing before you can put the red oil on the media again. Shake out the water and let it air dry. It takes an afternoon or overnight. But you only have to do this every 100,000 miles or so. Worth the trouble.

Check Engine Light
Check engine light came on as soon as the install was completed. Checked all hoses and connections and light still remains on. I believe it to be due to the plastic connector hoses tips.
