K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake System: Easy Installation, Engineered to Maximize Airflow, Boost Horsepower & Torque, 69-1019TS

This is a very simple review to write. The product arrived the day it was scheduled. The directions were absolutely spot on to what needed to be done and when. The sound in V-tec mode and the improved performance are everything that K & N claimed they would be. My son actually installed this with my guidance and supervision, I touched nothing.

I ordered this intake for my 2015 Honda Civic SI after looking at several other options. Once I received it and looked it over I was extremely glad I had selected the K&N intake I was very impressed with the quality put into manufacturing this product. The installation instructions were very clear and the installation was straight forward everything in the kit fit as it should. I would definitely recommend this product to any one with SI looking to gain a few more ponies and a great intake sound.

I am 54 years young and have been using K&N products since 1976 when I got my first car. Through the years I have gone from Muscle cars and now to tuner cars. I now have a 2013 Honda Civic Si Coupe 2.4L and purchased the K&N Cold Air Intake Model Number 69-1019TS. Once again I have not been disappointed, works great, looks great, and you can really feel the difference as well as hear the difference especially when the Vtech kicks in.  K&N is a GREAT American Company and continues to offer great products and excellent customer support right here in the USA. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on a Japan made, 2.4L Si 2 door, grab this K&N Vornado and add a MAGNAFLOW cat-back, good God! The added performance is only surpassed by the Indy Car sound this system puts out. I own a S/C cobra, this system sounds just as great. People will, and have gone.... Was that a Honda??

Despite just a few installation difficulties related to the soft stock inlet tube (despite taking caution as explained in the excellent directions), I am thoroughly satisfied with this kit and the included components. I immediately noticed a quicker throttle response, smoother power band from idle up through when the VTEC kicks in (and the wonderful sound it makes at that point), and a 40 mile test trip showed an immediate increase in fuel mileage. Excellent product that delivered everything promised and more. Thank you!

I received this product from my wife on Christmas this year and I love it. The install takes about 1:30 but that was due to finding the right screws. If your an average joe and don't know much about cars you could easily install this part, it's only matching parts. Makes the car sound so much better. I put it on a 2013 Civic Si. The moment I pulled out of my driveway I noticed that the car's acceleration was amazingly enhanced and the engine sounds like you have so much more power!

I have been using K&N since 1976, my senior year in High School way before they started making complete intake systems. Over the years I have purchased at least 20 Products from just factory replacement filters to complete Intake systems and have always been extremely satisfied. The latest being my 2013 Honda Civic Si Coupe in which I purchased the 69-1019TS Typhoon Intake System, and have been completely satisfied with the system and the extremely excellent customer service/support. If anyone is considering a quality aftermarket air filter to complete air intake system, I personally would consider only K&N, Great Quality, Very Professional, and Made in the USA, what more could you ask for. Just purchased this air intake and bolted it on to my 2013 Honda civic Si 4d.... Amazing! It took me just over an hour to install .. The instructions were very easy to follow with little or no tweaking. The second I started my car ... The tone of my motor was more aggressive and sounded great. Acceleration was much improved.. (Almost like a different car)....Great purchase for the average guy to bolt on. Amazing results.. Thanks K&N!

I received my K&N Typhoon Series Cold Air Intake within the time frame I was given. The directions that came in the box where easy to follow. It took me roughly 2 hours to install. I also watched a YouTube video on the installation of the Typhoon, on the K&N channel (to which I am subscribed) prior to looking at the directions. This helped out tremendously. Thank you.

The change in sound is incredible and power boost is noticeable, so it's freshened up my experience since the new car element has worn off over the year that I've had my ''13 Si. Anyone considering this will not regret pulling the trigger.
