K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: High Performance, Guaranteed to Increase Horsepower: 2002-2004 FORD (Focus ST170, Focus SVT) 69-3511TP

I installed this on my 02 svtf replacing the factory snorkel. Honestly don't notice hp gain but smoothed out the lower rms and helped with smoother shifts from factory clutch and shifter. I wouldn't say its louder just a different in that you can hear the air entering, exhaust sound is the same.

I have four cars, a 67' Malibu SS, a 70' Baracuda Hemi, a 93' Mustang Saleen, and a 02' Focus SVT, all extreemly powerful straight from the factory. I was skeptical at first, but I put a K&N XStream filter in the Malibu and in the 'Cudda, a cone filter in the Mustang and a Typhoon kit in the Focus. On the Malibu and 'Cudda I immediately noticed more horsepower and a crazy kick in the pants feeling. The Mustang I super charged and with the addition of the cone filter it felt like I added an extra 4 psi of boost. The Typhoon kit didnt help the Focus' horsepower much except on the low end (which left a lot to be asked for) it added more than enough torque, in that little four banger Focus, all stock. Save the Typhoon kit I'm now running low 10's on the 1/4 mile.
