the installation went great on my 2007 Honda Ridgeline RTL. but after I installed it, I noticed that every time I pulled my oil dipstick, I would hear a lot of air pressure suck into my engine. every time I pulled out the dipstick. I assumed that everything was sealed on the air intake. but then I pulled the hose that feeds the fresh air to my oil compartment. because there is a stub that comes off the main air trunk. but just because there's a stub doesn't mean that it's open. I had to drill out the stub. once I did that and reconnected the hose that feeds my oil system, there's no more pressure loss and my truck operates even better now
Easy install and it works as advertised. I have seen an increase in my highway mileage, but have also done some other work that may contribute to that. Around town it's tempting to open it full throttle (significant sound improvement and quicker throttle response), so haven't seen as much improvement on the city mpg, but that's my own fault. Ordering was easy and the kit arrived exactly when promised - great buying experience.
Ridgeline Testimonial Hey, my brother and I just installed your intake for my Honda Ridgeline... I was expecting it to sound cooler and have more horsepower... but the difference we got was literally amazing. First off, the intake sound that thing makes is insane! It took my quiet, mundane little V-6 sound and made transformed it into a deep, loud rumble. I didn't think my truck /could/ rumble, but now it does. Second, the horsepower gain is more than just 'noticeable'. Getting on the highway and passing the difference in remarkable. The first few times it caught me by surprise and gave me a decent scare, but now I've just learned to enjoy it. Best of all, your instructions were so clear and easy that even inexperienced guys like my brother and I were able to install it in less than an hour. Keep up the good work!
